After many more tears with getting reunited with your family and friends, you were now sitting upright on your bed with the others by your side.

Y/N POV
Seto was the first to speak up, "If you don't mind me asking what happened after your disappearance?....You mentioned Kisara..."

I told them everything from when I realized Kisara was behind everything, to where humans helped me escape. When I was done I saw Seto looking dumbstruck, and a bit heartbroken before he quickly excused himself out the door.

"I'm gonna check on him" Joey said rushing after Seto.

"...Did I miss something?" I asked tilting my head.

"That's Seto, he's Joey's second mate" Mai said before continuing. "He was also Kisara's mate"

My eyes widened as I recalled Kisara talking about her mate changing her mind. I nodded solemnly in understanding. I held Tèa's hand as a healer came in to check on me.

With Seto
Walking out of Y/N's room Seto walked aimlessly through the corridors of the castle.

"Seto!" Kisara said laughing pulling Seto along the lake.

"Your High-"

"Oh No you don't! Your my mate you call me Kisara or a nickname. No formalities with me"

Seto Cringed at the memory, he reached a dead end and sighed. You betrayed us....You betrayed me...Closing his eyes he thought back to that day.

The castle of Voda was in total chaos, Seto was heading straight for Kisara, concern of her safety. He remembered the guards trying to escape and seeing Kisara, his mate, attacking everyone while holding the vand gem. He barely had reached the throne room when Kisara killed her mother with a sword through her heart. Her eyes were blank with no emotion in sight as her mother bleed on her. Seto used the water nearby to strike Kisara who dropped the vand gem. The two rushed and grabbed the gem at the same time.

"Goodbye My Love" Kisara said before blasting Seto away with her magic.

Seto fell unconscious and learned later that the gem got in the hands of the same hunter who took Y/N....and that Kisara died in an attempt to cast a soul transfer.

Seto lets out a shaky breathe when he felt someone wrapped their arms perfectly around his waist. Sighing he leaned back to the toned chest of his mate, inhaling the intoxicating cologne Joey was wearing...Or was that his natural scent?

"How ya feeling Seto?" Joey asked with concern in his voice. He knew Kisara was a touchy subject especially now that it concerned you, but he had to make sure his mate was alright.

Seto shook his head, "I still can't believe it... I'm sorry Joe-"

"Don't apologize for something she did" Joey growled softly but loud enough for Seto to hear.

"But-"

Seto couldn't finish as Joey turned him around and pushed him against a wall. Shocked blue eyes met with dominant brown ones. Nothing was said between the two for a couple of seconds, but Seto felt like it was an eternity with his heart beating fast. Secretly, he liked when Joey showed his dominance since he somehow managed to make the Alpha submissive to him....but he would never admit that. But as if Joey heard Seto, Joey leaned in and kiss him passionately making the other moan in response.

Y/N POV
The healers finished checking up on me and told me that I was all healed which surprised me since I was literally at death's door. Once they left Mai said she had to go leaving just me and Tèa in the room.
