Hey to anyone who's acutally reading this. I tried to make this one long. Enjoy!

-Chapter Two-That One Summer-

I walked of the plane, tired and sore. I hate plane rides so much. They take so long and most of the time I get air sick. At least that didn't happen to me this time.

I looked around the room, then I saw a familiar face and sprinted toward my mom. She saw me coming towards me and squealed my name.

"Mallory! Oh my god I missed you so much! How are you? How was the flight?"

"Mom! I missed you too! I'm good, tired, but good. It was alright. I didn't get sick this time, so that's good."

"Oh that's so good to hear. I uh, have someone that I want you to meet. Well it's two someones really. Ben! Thomas!"

Then a strong looking man in his early fourtys came out and a younger guy who kinda looked like him, except he looked like he was about seventeen. Right away I knew that was Thomas. We smiled at each other and he winked at me making me blush a bit. No guy has ever done that to me.

"Hey Mallory, I'm Ben, your mom's...Fiance." After he said that I stood there smiling. Then Thomas coughed and I looked at him and he rolled his eyes.

"OH! OH! WHAT?! You're marrying my mom?!" I shrieked while glancing over at Thomas who was biting his lip so he wouldn't laugh at me.

"Yes! Isn't it exciting dear? I'm so in love with Ben! Oh and this is his son, Thomas. Thomas, meet my daughter, Mallory."

"Hi, Mallory. It's very nice to...meet you."

"Haha. Hi, Thomas. It's nice to meet you too." We said to each other while shaking hands. I noticed that he held my hand a little to long which made me smile even more.

"Thomas, take her bags and meet Jan and I at the car Okay?"

"Yeah, okay dad." After they left Thomas took my backpack and we headed over to the baggage claim.

"So, Mallory, I thought you said you weren't hot." I gasped.

"I'm not! And I said that I didn't think I was because no one has ever told me I'm hot, Or beautiful. "

"Not even your mom?" I shook my head. He didn't really understand. My mom kinda blamed me for the divorce.

 "Oh, well Mallory, you're beat-"

"Don't say it!" I said putting my right hand up.

"I want to hear it from a guy, and I want him to mean it."

"Alright...Oh which one is your bag?"

"It's baby blue and has a big 'M' on it. It's right there."

 "Oh I see it."

After we got all my bags then we headed out to the parking garage.

"Crap, I forgot where we parked..."

 "Way to go smart one."

"I'll just call my dad. Hey dad? What level are we on? Oh yeah, Level 3? Okay. Yeah. We'll be there soon. No? Level 1. Oh I see you." Then he hung up, and a red convertible car came up and stopped in front of us.

"Ready babe?" My mom asked and I nodded my head as I got in the back seat. Then Thomas got in next to me.

"Ready?" Ben asked looking at us. I nodded my head and Thomas said yeah.

We were driving for what felt like forever. I was looking at all the huge houses wondering which on was theirs. Then I remembered that Thomas said that theirs is the biggest one and when we pulled up in the driveway, I saw that he wasn't kidding. It was freaking huge! I stared at it with my eyes big. Thomas chuckled and leaned towards me. He was very very close right now, and I'm not gonna lie, I really liked it. I felt my face heating up as he whispered in my ear, "I told you it was big." Then he grabbed my bags. That's all he was doing, That's why he was so close. He was just getting my bags. I took a deep breath trying to slow down my heart. It was pounding in my chest from Thomas' closeness. I guess I was just standing there for a long time because then Thomas called my name from one of the windows.
