Who?!

Eris was or wanted to be a normal girl who only truly wanted to be accepted by her family and peers. Eris tried her hardest but her fight was giving up and her heart hurted more than anything draining any type of life out of her. Eris was only 16 but had gone through many fights and still standing made her stronger than anyone could ever imagine. Eris just had to see that too.

Eris pov

I laid spread on the beach towel gazing among the stars. The grass tickling my feet with each soft breeze blowing by. I lost track of time but I only thought about the full moon shining in my eyes. I let my mind forget all my troubles and sulk in the moonlight and breathing slowly and enjoying every moment like it's my last. I silently sulked and wished that I had someone to share these types of moments with; they were special and absolutely perfect. I got interrupted by a tap to the shoulder. Turing my heart left my body and scared outta my mind and say "who, who are you?!" I saw the towering shadow standing in front me. "Hello" a sweet type of voice coming from a dark black figure. "Hi sorry.... Didn't mean to scare you. I just wanted to know if i could join ya, Im Violet by the way"  the figure sounded a lot more sweet then I once thought. " Come into the moonlight um.... Violet" I say with a little fear in my eyes. What if it was a hideous monster with dagger like teeth, much to my relief it was an pretty... no no no a  beautiful girl with jet black hair and pale skin. " You can join me if you'd like since I'm 100% sure you're not a monster now" we both shared a  little giggle and I shifted over so Violet can sit on the beach towel instead of the slightly wet grass from the dew. Violet sat next to me and I glanced over to her and noticed how she stared into the moon like she had many thoughts going through her mind all at once so I asked." penny for your thoughts."
Violet's body shifted as she said "My family hates me" and with that she started to cry and I just hugged her. I hugged a complete stranger but that hug felt like i've known her all my life and I couldn't tell you why it felt like that. After a few seconds her grip tightened and she cried even harder without even saying a word. " whats the matter you're too pretty to be crying hun." Violet finally let go off me and took the biggest deep breath and finally croaked out. "My family verbally abuses me and takes out a lot of their anger out on me and I'm so tired and I don't know what to do anymore or who to go to and how to fix it. It hurts so badly to be home. That's why I'm here. I snuck out to clear my head. Now I just told a stranger my troubles and I don't even know your name which is....?" "Eris" I said very briefly so that I could continue to comfort this stranger named Violet. A ding goes off  and Violet gets up in a hurry. " Eris... I-I I have to go my dad texted me and knows I'm not home" and without a blink of an eye Violet was gone and I had no telling when I was ever gonna see her again. Well I just decided to pack up all my stuff and head home. I made it home and was greeted by my mother beth. "Well your back huh." she said with a tone as though she didn't want me around but I'm not surprised I wasn't her favorite. So I walked past her and walked upstairs and past my twin sisters room Emery with her annoying self. I crashed onto my pillows letting sleep surround me but my last thought was violet oddly but either way my dreams swept me away.
