"This takes too long."

Aiden could only nod in agreement, not really paying attention to his wife's notifications. His eyes are practically glued on her entrancing form surrounded by an air of grace; comely blue eyes patiently waiting for the unleashing of the amazing future scenery the bright and sunny kingdom keeps babbling about.

Their tidy pine wood boat slightly swayed as the King of Arendelle made a minor movement, his arms growing a bit numb because he's been holding their rowing oars for an event less hour now. The white sleeves of his shirt are currently rolled up to his elbows, since they tend to slide down which causes a great inconvenience.

The calm, unrushed pace of Aiden's rowing rippled the water leisurely, the creasy reflection of his wife's stunning figure mirrored by the tranquil waters alongside their roomy sea vessel.

It was Eugene and Rapunzel themselves who suggested for the fire king and the ice queen to take a relaxing, evening cruise. They were quick to send the pair off to the docks, right after the former thief eagerly stuffed a yet to be used lantern in Aiden's arms.

He couldn't help but admire the pretty blue rose tucked behind Elsa's ear. She must've picked it from the Royal Gardens before they were unashamedly swept in the privacy of their lone, sailing boat. It complimented her and it felt appealing to the eye.

And then her dress—oh greek gods. She looked beautiful, beyond compare. He could've sworn she'd rock any color she would sport. But somehow, either white or blue stands out among the rest in the palette.

Her dress looked like its fabric is made out of blankets of unsullied frost united in one layer, elegant patterns of snowflakes serving as the design on the mid-calf length skirt. Her attire of course accompanied by a pair of white stilettos.

Gawking at her for too long makes him feel like he looks too shabby. He doesn't know why he always instinctively wear this usual white shirt and high waisted, tight black trousers, dressing up just didn't seem to ring any bells for him.

They've been in silence since they set sail, and unpleasantly, he's speechless and stupefied he can't think of a word to utter. The Queen of Arendelle seemed like she's enjoying the foreign environment anyway, so there's no ice breaking now-

"Look, lover! It's starting!"

Mystified by the way she pointed her index finger towards the coast; his wife is indeed not mistaken. They spotted numerous silhouettes at the high balcony of Corona's castle, and of course, they are undoubtedly Queen Arianna, King Frederic, Iduna, Agnarr, Anna and Kristoff's.

The more lanterns doubled in amount, floating tentatively from mid air into a higher height as moments pass as if they were larger dots of stars, and it took Elsa's breath more once the quantity of these ascending lights multiplied into the dark of the murky nightsky.
