Ding!

Byulyi picked up her phone and saw a notification pop up on her screen.

You have received a Direct Message.

Byulyi frowned as she clicked on the notification and began to read.

Dear Moon Author-nim, I am kayesjay, the
person who posted a comment on your wall
which you replied to yesterday. As a result
of you replying to my comment, a whole
bunch of your followers attacked me, causing
me to have no choice but to deactivate and
create a new one. As a person who has loved
reading my entire life, this came as an absolute shock to me as I felt that my comment, albeit sounding a little too direct, was taken in such
a negative way by both you and your readers.
I would like to apologise for what I said,
however, I would also like to express the fact
that I meant everything I said in that comment. Thank you, and have a nice life. I will continue
to read your books but won't be giving you any feedback, since it wasn't exactly welcomed as
well as I expected it to be.

Byulyi inhaled sharply. Her readers attacked him? It was never in her intention to humiliate him, or even send her followers after him. Her readers must have felt the same way too, after reading his comment. But hearing him explain his side now, he probably didn't mean it after all. And the fact that he had to deactivate and create a whole new account... it made Byulyi feel bad. She began typing at her phone quickly.

dear kayesjay-nim, i am awfully sorry about
what happened to you. i muted the activity on
your comment after replying, like i usually do,
not knowing that some of my followers would attack you in the way they did. i would like to assure you that even though i was slightly
offended by what you said, i had absolutely no malicious intent when i replied to your comment. thinking back, i may have overreacted a little to what you said. i will be deleting my reply under your post to avoid future conflicts. i will also
personally upload an apology message to you
and pin it on my wall, if that is something that
would make you feel better. i would like to offer
my sincerest apologies for the pain i have caused
you once again, and hope that you will recover
from the emotional trauma you must have gone
through as soon as possible. thank you for your
apology as well, i accept and appreciate it.

Byulyi stared at her phone for a while, as kayesjay came online and began typing.

Ding!

I really wasn't expecting a reply from you, so
I have to say I was rather surprised when I
got the notification. I accept your apology
as well. A public apology on your wall wouldn't
be necessary though, since I've already moved
accounts.

Byulyi's eyes lit up as she quickly typed a response.
