chapter 22: his past trauma

"My house is right upstairs-" Unit 105 shook his head as he gestured. "What about you?"

"I'll figure something out," Jennie said with a smile. "You seem like a good person, 105. See you around."

He stared at her for a few seconds of silence, before he turned towards the door once more. He opened the door, about to leave, before he turned back around to face Jennie.

Jennie looked up and smiled at him, waiting patiently for him to speak. "Anything else, 105?"

He hesitated for a while more, biting at his lower lip nervously, before he finally spoke.

"I'm not 105. My real name's Yoongi, Min Yoongi."

"Hey, Seokjin-hyung."

"Don't call me that, Park Jimin-" Seokjin groaned. "We're not on that level of friendship."

"Hey, Kim Seokjin-" Jimin said with a smirk. "Where's your JK? I don't see him around?"

"Kim Seokjin-ssi," Seokjin insisted. "Where's your Jennie Kim? I don't see her around either."

"Sent her home."

"Sent him home too."

"Why are you here then?"

"Why are you here?"

"Because I'm hardworking."

"You stole my line."

It was silent for a while.

"Get lost then-" Seokjin said nonchalantly as he took a seat at his desk. "I have important stuff to do."

Jimin scoffed as he walked over to his desk a few cubicles down the row. "Can't be as important as mine, can it?"

Seokjin scoffed. "By leaps and bounds."

"Shut up."

"You shut up."

Jimin sneered at Seokjin as he shoved his earpieces in his ear and began typing at his computer, sorting out Jennie's schedule for the next week. Seokjin watched him with a triumphant smirk on his face, when he suddenly-

Buzz!

Seokjin felt a buzz from his phone, and hurriedly clicked on the notification on his lockscreen.
