Choi Jiwon's POV ~

Looking back I always had an amazing childhood. My parents were always good to me and worked extremely hard. I ended up going to the best schools, wearing the best clothing, and having a nice car by the time I was eighteen. Nothing about my childhood was bad. I give all my respect to my parents. That was until I turned twenty-three years old. My dad dropped the biggest news of all time on me.

"There is no way I'm marrying someone I don't even know!" I shouted at my father. Him and my mom where standing in our kitchen with worried expression on their faces. I'm not one for disrespecting my parents but there is no way I'm marrying a stranger. Never.

"It's not marry! Just go on a few dates with him first." My mother started looking around for something as she explained. "He's really sweet and very handsome. But it won't be until next week because he's still in Japan with his work. Your dad and I made a slight joke many years ago that you and your dad's friend's son would get married when you got older. I didn't think he was serious or would even remember." My mom looked me in the eyes with a stressful and worried expression telling me that her and my dad were regretting this.

They are definitely not the type of people to force anything on me.

"All I'm asking is maybe go on a date with him for my friend please. If he is an ass or tries anything beat his ass-" My dad was cut off because my mom slapped him with the dishrag.

"Here's a photo of him." My mom showed me a photo of an extremely good looking guy who if I was looking to date anyone I might give him a try.

But you see just last week I started school and got into my new house. I haven't even finish buying new furniture for the house yet. There is no way possible I'm starting another project just yet. I at least thought in a year or two maybe bringing home a dog or cat. Not bringing a boyfriend home.

Plus I don't date the right guys. Since I was a child guys have always found me to be pretty. Maybe I really am, or that they saw that I came from money. Either way the guys I've dated have always been real jerks. So for the past four years I haven't even thought about dating and you know what. I've been eating better, sleeping better, my skin looks better, and most of all...my heart feels at ease.

Who says women need men?

About two days after speaking with my mom and dad I went back to school wondering about my future. Should I really go next week or pretend I'm sick? I tried not thinking about it knowing that today was a new week of school.

"Jiwon!" I turned around to see two of my good friends walking up towards me. One is my childhood best friend Yoori who is the most prettiest girl in the school to me. And the other is my highschool best friend Jimin. With them in this school I actually feel very complete.

"I swear everyday your hair gets blonder." Jimin reached over grabbing a strain of my recently dyed blonde hair. I naturally have dark brown hair but dyed it blonde for a nice change. A lot of people say it fits me and so therefor I'm thinking about keeping it like this for awhile.

"Probably the sun beaming on it. It's already mid August." I said pulling my hair back into a long ponytail.

"Hey after class are you going on that field trip with Ms. Young?" Yoori asked both me and Jimin as she stepped in front of us.

"I'm not. I have work this afternoon." Jimin replied.

"I think I am. I'm kind of looking forward to it." I pulled out my cellphone to check the time. "I'm late!" I started running off when Yoori yelled at me.

"Just please be careful in the woods!"

After heading to class and getting my first period done I found Ms. Young already getting the city bus ready. The trip was about two hours away and we were going to go see a waterfall and understand how nature naturally makes them. Growing up I lived near the beach and didn't really see waterfalls, so that is why I'm excited about going.

"Do you need help Ms. Young?" I grabbed a bag off the ground as she was putting them inside.

"Thank you Jiwon. I can't believe how many people are going on this trip. I hope I can keep up with you all." Ms. Young said laughing a bit. I saw a clipboard sitting on another bag and quickly grabbed it. There was over a hundred people going on this trip.

How are we going to fit on this bus?

"I have another bus coming but everyone will have to sit with someone. I hope you are fine with that Jiwon?" Ms. Young asked. I could tell she was worried and I didn't want to upset her.

"Not at all." I repelled. Truthfully it did bother me a little since I don't know that many people here but instead of getting worried I just thought to myself maybe I can meet a new friend.

But little did I know that this trip would change my whole life.
