Storyteller's Enticing Antagonist (Book One)

Prologue

The Brothers Grimm, Jacob Ludwig Karl, and Wilhelm Carl Grimm were the collectors. Their work is consistently successful. The brothers possessed an uncanny ability to discover unusual items imbued with a mysterious source of power. Jacob chose to work in government. Being raised without a father, Jacob had to take on the upbringing of his siblings. After some time had passed, the Grimm Brothers, Wilhelm being the social butterfly and Jacob being the scholar, decided to give up their previous careers and start collecting folk songs and tales.

To gather various stories, they travel to numerous nations throughout Europe. There was a lot of oral storytelling back then. They write down their ideas, turn them into stories, turn those stories into books, and then have those books published under the name of brothers. During their travels, Jacob and Wilhelm learned where the stories originated. In this situation, a thing rather than a particular person was in question. As a result of the legends that have spread throughout the world, the magic has been securely stored in empowered objects. The destruction of the source linked to everyone's life obliterates the entire past, present, and future of the generation. There is no evidence of these anywhere.

The brothers decided to thoroughly investigate these mysterious objects and how they relate to one another in real life. The Tree of Good and Evil, which, like the biblical Tree of Knowledge, contains incredible powers that are beyond the capacity of mortals, was eventually found after many years of research. According to legend, the Tree of Good and Evil was placed beneath Lucifer, or the Devil, after the great battle between God and Fallen Lucifer Morningstar was resolved. He decided to tie all living things' lives to the tree because he was a sly, mischievous devil.

There is one magical item that represents each generation line. If it were destroyed, that line would vanish in an instant. On the other hand, the devil had other plans for their betrayal. Succubus seduced Wilhelm, the youngest brother, who ultimately stole his seeds because he remained oblivious to the evil the Devil had woven. The daughter of Wilhelm was bound to the Devil (the fallen angel), who created a woman out of the stolen Wilhelm seeds, dooming their entire line to a life of curse. The Grimm Brothers imagined a fantastical world and decided to write a book that would contain Wilhelm's cursed daughter as soon as they learned about it. Every person who has ever lived in this world can relate to this book's tale.

However, ultimate fate had different plans. The Rothiemurchus Forest, which was off-limits to humans, was home to the white witch, who both men were determined to find. Reaching the witch, she wanted to cast a strong spell on Wilhelm's daughter, but her son got in the way and unintentionally caused the spell to accidentally misfire and fall into the ley line. The ley line was fully charged when the witch's lone son was drawn into the book.

Devastated, the witch curses the daughter of the youngest brother, saying that she will be the one to give birth to future storytellers and the only one blessed enough to be able to free her son Callum. The child with Wilhelm ancestry will be related to witch's son Callum. Neither will survive without the other. She gives the book to Wilhelm. The deal was sealed when the witch slashed his skin and allowed his blood to drip onto the book before he had a chance to free his hand from her grip.

In a desperate attempt to escape the woods and remain alive, the brothers and daughter fled. As soon as she got home, Wilhelm intended to lock the house to prevent any additional pregnancies. He also had plans to send her daughter off to a distant place. Then, as Wilhelm and Jacob fled from their home in a panic, the book was locked inside a cave far from them, where they were concealing it out of sight of any onlookers.

The witch, however, cast a dark spell on the book to both fulfill her desire for vengeance and locate her son. The future Wilhelm heir will locate the chosen one, and he will then use their magic to cast the spell.

Callum found himself startled and lost in a strange forest that wasn't like his own. He searched for his mother for several days, but he was unable to find her. Hungry, on his own, he engaged in combat with a variety of strange animals and suffered health issues from poisonous plants but was able to survive because of the magic his mother had left him. The memory of the ritual was still fresh in Callum's mind, and he was furiously angry. He observed a man forcing the woman. He was enraged by witnessing such an evil deed, and he killed the man in cold blood. Callum could feel how gratifying and pleasurable the man's death was. He made love to the woman with dark hair under a crude shelter he had magically created.

She eagerly agreed to Callum taking her virginity to prove her unwavering love for him and solidify their eternal union. When she hesitantly asked him for his name, he answered right away, but when she questioned why he hadn't asked her for it back, he replied that she had mesmerized him with her beauty and her complete helplessness. When Callum disappeared the following morning, the girl was devastated and vowed to exact revenge on him.

After many centuries, he sees a white figure beckoning to him as the image of a woman plays back in his head. He knew the woman when he was freed because he kept picturing her and hearing her name. Callum was being pulled toward the blinding light as his surroundings became disorienting. As he vanished from the location from which he made the vow to leave and return home, his entire body felt as though it were being torn apart molecule by molecule. He was brought back to reality by the chosen one.
