Jonah's POV
since arriving at the hospital ive found myself looking over at the room across, there was a girl there, she had short brown hair with beautiful glossy brown eyes. she looks like something from a dream.
8.00pm
"beth?" i questioned sitting up, i must of fell asleep on the sofa in the hospital room
"what?" she replied in a whisper - i guessed mom was asleep
"what time is it?" i asked
"umm 8pm - i was thinking we should sleep here tonight?"
"i think ill go back home but your free to stay here - hey im gonna go to the vending machine want something?" i asked
"yeah chocolate bar please" she smiled
i nodded and ruffled my hair. i walked out and to the vending machine at the end of the hall. i put 2 dollars in the machine and got a 2 chocolate bars, packet a chips and a bottle of Gatorade, as i was going back to the room i saw that girl headed to the machine but when she got there she whispered under her breath "shit", i put everything in my hoodie and walked over to her
"dont have enough?" i asked
"no, i need a dollar - eh nevermind" she said
"nah here" i put a dollar into the machine and she got a bottle a Gatorade too
"thank you" she smiled at me, then looked down and tucked a piece of hair behind her ear "i should probably go back to my room then" she said and shrugged
"okay, see you around" i replied. i watched her walk away, until i snapped out and started to walk back to moms room, but she fell to the ground right infront of me, i ran to her and helped her up. then i guided her to her room and placed her on the bed, smiled and walked away, but before i got to far she grabbed my hand
"what was your name?" she asked
"oh, urh Jonah" i replied, she laughed at my nervousness - and MY GOD it was so cute, i waved bye to her and walked back to moms room.
"www who was that?" Bethany asked as i handed her the chocolate
"i think the name on the door was tatum or something, i obviously didn't ask - she dropped to the ground as i was walking back, i helped her back to bed" i said
"awe has little Jonah got a crush?" she teased
mom started to wake up "are you two still here?" she smiled
"yeah mom here - " i handed her the packet of chips
"whats this for?" she raised an eyebrow
"just a little snack" i smiled
"i wouldn't dream of more perfect children" she kissed both of us on the head and i went to sit on the sofa. i was trying to have a conversation with Bethany but i couldn't stop thinking about Tatum, she was so perfect, like i cant even.
9.32pm
"im going to head home, getting tired" i said
"okay, ill tell mom when she wakes up" Bethany smiled, i nodded, texted Corbyn to say Bethany was staying and went to order a cab to go home....
