Shallow

I treasure all our memories. Before Tuesday came, I visit all the places here that will remind me of him. Pumunta ako sa Batis, sa Plaza, sa Farm nila. Napadaan din ako sa bahay nila ngunit sarado iyon at walang ka tao-tao.
Funny how I say that I've fallen on my professor even though I love Chris. He's my first love, We're just too young and naive to realize it.

I hope time will let us see each other again. I hope the world will let us be together again. I miss you so much,Chris.

"Apo, magbihis kana. Pupunta na tayo ng acasha."ani Lola. Acasha is a big river here.

"Opo Lola!"sabi ko at nagbihis na.

I decided not to wear bikini. I wore short dark blue shorts and white tube top.

Abalang-abala ang lahat. It's my Lola's 78th birthday. She still active!

"Piyang!"dinig kong tawag ni Mamay.

"Po Mamay?"

"Hali ka na, pupunta na tayo sa ilog!" Sabi nya kaya sumunod ako. Excited ako! Kasi may mga ala-ala rin kami doon ni Chris.

"Opo!"

Maingay kami habang naglalakad. Marami kami, andito rin ang mga tiyahin at tiyuhin ko. Mga pinsan ko.

While walking I feel someone tap my shoulder.
Then I saw Lilian, my cousin. smiling.

"Hi,Lily!" Bati ko.

Naramdaman kong rumami na ang nakasabay ko sa paglalakad. I saw Peter,Ate em, Aleya, Michael and Jona. Pito kaming magkasabay sa paglalakad.
Puro magpinsan pa.Namiss ko sila.

"Kwento ka naman!" Sabi ni Ate em.

"Oo nga, matagal kang hindi nakapunta dito eh!" Singit naman ni Michael at ginulo ang buhok ko.

"Wala naman!" Ani ko.

"Asus,Sinong crush mo?" Si Aleya

"Hmmmm.. complicated!" Tanging nasabi ko.
Nagsihiyawan naman sila. Mabuti at nahuli ang mga matatanda kaya hindi kami narinig.

"So meron nga!" Sigaw ni Peter.

"Meron din naman kayo ah!"asik ko.

"Naalala ko dati, Nagwala si Piyang kasi kinuha ko ang diary nya!" Ani Peter habang tumatawa.

"Epal ka kasi,Peter asungot!" Sigaw ko.

"May gusto akong sabihin sa inyo tungkol kay Lily noon!" Sigaw ni Jona, ate ni Lily.

"Ano?"sabay naming tanong. Si Lily naman, namumutla.

"One day, binisita ko sya sa school nya. Nakita ko syang nagbigay ng banana que at tapioca sa crush nya! With matching pulang pisngi tapos sinabi nya pang..."pambibitin nya.

"Oh My God! Ano?" Ani Aleya.

"Sabi nya. Sayo na yan, from the bottom of my heart kahit di mo ko nacrushback! Tapos tumakbo!" Natatawang sabi nya.

Bumulalas ang pinsan ko ng tawa

"Oh my god! You really did it, Lilian?" Ani ko.

"Nah. Lets not talk about it!" Asik nya.

"Cheezy mo pala Lily!" Sigaw ni Michael.

Nagtawanan pa kami ng nagtawanan. Nakakamiss ang ganitong bonding.This is my relationship towards my cousins. We are very closed, but I can say that they are much closer than me. Well, I cannot blame them. I'm very far from them. They all live here in province while I, on Manila.See?

"Happy Birthday to our bravest, strongest and prettiest Lola in the world!"sabay naming magpinsan na sigaw sa harapan ni Lola. "Happy Happy Birthday Lola Maritha   Dayana Murlana!"

Ilang pictures pa ang ginawa namin. Groufie dito, Groufie doon! Well, I will post it on my Instagram later.

Naligo kaming lahat sa ilog. Nakakamiss ang ilog. Dito kami naliligo noon ni Chris. Hays, enough of thinking,Sofia! You are here to enjoy! Don't you ever think to the man who never think about you.

I felt shallow in my heart. It hurts to admit, yes! Probably he'll never think of me. He didn't even say goodbye right? He just leave without proper goodbye. I enhaled, exhaled.

I can't help but to think of so many why's. Why you leave, Chris? Yeah,I understand that you need to live there but why you didn't even tell me? You are the only one who can make my heart at shallow.
