Xander and Aria
(Third person POV)

"I liked them better when they fought" Xander said with disgust looking at his father and Ashton Rockwell giggling like school girls while playing chess.

"Add them to the list of side of effects of loving the enemy" sighed Aria folding her arms over her chest.

"Loving the enemy huh?" Xander placed his arm over her shoulder placing a small peck on her temple.

"Uh huh" Aria nodded placing her head on his chest

They were currently at the country club sitting on a bench by the vast gardens as their dad's played chess and their moms were off somewhere gossiping.

"Weird how only two weeks ago they hated each other's guts" Xander chuckled

"I know who knew it would take a truck almost killing me.." Aria shut up feeling Xander tense up at the mention of her near miss accident.

"Xander" she caressed his jaw trying to get him to ease up "I'm fine, nothing happened"

"But it almost did Aria!" Xander spoke up "I almost lost you then and there"

"Can we just forget about it, seems like every conversation we have comes back to the incident" Aria pleads

"Yeah sure, I guess" Xander sighs tightening his grip on Aria's shoulders

"Why don't we go somewhere a little less crowded?" Aria suggested

"I'm listening" Xander said

"Just the two of us" Aria added

"Ok let's go" Xander said getting up enthusiastically

"Hurry up before they've noticed we've gone" Aria ushered to Xander and they walked hurriedly towards the lake on the other side of the country club.

As they walked together hand in hand they found themselves by the gazebo where most weddings take place.

"Seems weird to find this place empty especially this time of year" Aria said looking around

"Yeah usually they have a wedding here everyday" Xander remarked

"Look they even have the stage for the vows out" Aria pointed to the wooden stage which was wet probably from the sprinklers. As they reached it, Xander took the first three steps before giving Aria his hand helping her up the steps. Aria grabbed his other hand and they both grinned at each other happily gazing into each other's eyes. When suddenly both realized the position they were in and what it meant, letting go both took a step back.

"Umm.. it's getting a bit too hot maybe we should head back" Aria said nervously

"Actually I'm hungry let's eat something" Xander said trying to change the subject

"Ugh please don't tell me you're going to have eggs and bacon with pancakes?"

"And a milkshake. Yum" laughed Xander rubbing his stomach as Aria fake gagged

"Come on you have to try it at least once. Salty and sweet is the best food combination"

"Are you insane? Nuh uh I'm not having a milkshake with pancakes and eggs"

"Ok let's start simple. Fries in a milkshake"

"But why can't I have them separately like normal people"

"Normal is boring you've got to change it up a bit"

"I'm literally dating my arch nemesis, my life is anything but boring"

"Was" Xander corrected "I was your arch nemesis"

"Says who?"

"Says me"

"Really?"

"Really!"

"Well can arch nemeses do this with each other" Xander grabbed Aria by the waist and crashed his lips into hers. Aria giggles as she kissed him back encircling his neck with her arms.

"If they aren't then I do suggest they give it a try" Aria chuckled breaking the kiss momentarily before continuing making out with Xander this time more feverishly.

"Hey Romeo and Juliet!" Someone yelled behind them Aria and Xander immediately broke the kiss and moved away from each other their moment together ruined.

"What!" Xander angrily yelled at his elder brother Daniel.

"The brunch table is ready and the parents are wondering where you are!" Daniel yelled back

"Ugh let's just run away to somewhere" Xander muttered under his breath

"I've always wanted to visit Tahiti" Aria mused as they began their walk back

"A little hut by the beach seems like a plan" Xander chuckled

"And a boat! To go fishing" added Aria

"Oh we definitely need a boat" Xander agreed as they continued with their nonsensical banter.

Who knew that their innocent love would not only bring two enemies together but end a feud that had been going on for generations.
