I went back home in time for my studies and dinner. Unfortunately, my thoughts were so full of the handsome werewolf that I could hardly think of anything else. It frustrated both myself and my tutor.

Dinner I was silent for. My mind drifting off to blond Mohawks and muscular tattooed arms that could probably hold me against a wall and-

"You're awfully quiet Sebastian" My father said and I looked over at him,

"Oh uh...I hadn't noticed"

My father raised an eyebrow and sipped blood from his glass, I hesitantly took a sip from mine. I preferred animal blood but my father always had been a tyrant.

Dinner passed without much more thought. Ever since my siblings left I had been rather quiet and so my father must not have suspected anything. Bedtime however I sat up and stared out my window, wondering about the wolf.

The name Merrick rung a bell. I didn't know who exactly they were or if they were even a pack...but I could probably ask my tutor about it the next morning. She always had been rather knowledgeable about wolf packs in the area.

I laid down and stared out at the moon. As my eyes slipped shut, I could have sworn I heard the long mournful howl of a lone wolf.
