Jungkook's POV

"Aaaarrrghhhh!" biglang pasok ni Lorie sa bahay habang busy kaming nagme-merienda ng nanay nya.

"Problema nun?" tanong ni Kayla sa akin na tinaasan ko lang ng balikat.

"Kausapin mo." utos nya sabay kuha ng cookies na hawak hawak ko.

Naman! Ang sarap sarap ng kain ko eh. Nagkakamot ng batok akong unakyat para sundan si Lorie.

"Lorie." katok ko sa pinto ng kwarto nya.

"Po? Busog pa ako. Ayokong kumain!"she said with an irritated tone.

"Umayos ka sa tono mo babae. Baka supalpalin kita." biglang sulpot ni Kayla sa likod ko.

"Sige na. Ako na bahala." tulak ko kay Kayla na mukhang manenermon na naman.

"Kausapin mo yang anak mo ha. Aba't hindi porket hinahayaan mong ganyan sa sayo eh lulubus-lubusin nya. Baka di ako maka-timpi at paduguin ko yang bunganga nya." litanya nya habang pababa.

Haaaay! Brutal talaga kahit kailan.

"Lorie. Let me in." sabi ko.

Dahan-dahang bumukas yung pinto at niyakap ako ni Lorie.

"Sorry Dad. I didn't mean to answer you like that. I was just so pissed. Sorry po talaga." she mumbled.

"As long as hindi mo na uulitin then its fine. You learned your mistake. But alam mo yung nanay mo. Ayaw nya ng ganun." paalala ko.

"I know po. I'll apologize before dinner."

"What happened ba?" tanong ko. Though may clue naman ako kung bakit sya ganito.

"Si Justin kasi Dad... We were supposed to practice for our talent sa upcoming festival. Kaya lang hindi sya sumusulpot. Its been 4 days and he hasn't shown up, not even once. He's there during class hours pero kapag dismissal bigla syang nawawala na parang bula. Then all of a sudden I saw her with a girl on a cafe Dad! Its frustrating me! Has he been with that girl for 4 consecutive days?! Who is she? What is her relationship with him?! All of these questions are bugging me Dad! I don't know what to do!" she snapped as she cried in front of me.

I patted her head to comfort her but she cried even louder.

"Anong meron?" biglang sulpot ni Kayla with a worried face. "Sinong nang-away sayo anak? Sabihin mo at gugulpihin ko? Tell me." alo ni Kayla kay Lorie na nakayakap na sa kanya at umiiyak.

I sighed. Napaka-tsundere talaga ng isang 'to.

"Why won't you ask Justin directly kesa sa nagga-gaganyan ka dito?" I suggested.

"Dad, do you think its easy? Kung ganun lang kadali I should've done that sooner. But how could I ask him these questions na para akong nagseselos when we don't even have a relationship to begin with?! We're just mere childhood friends Dad. And I think that's just how its gonna be."

"Lorie anak. We all know na Justin would never set you aside. He's been with you for how many years?! Justin would never do something without telling you, ganun naman palagi diba? Bata pa lang kayo, he knows na you love him. Kaya nga ingat na ingat sya sa mga ginagawa at sinasabi nya pag nandyan ka. He treasures you more than you think. Kaya for now, I think you should ask him directly." sabi naman ni Kayla.

"But does he love me Mom? Does he love me in a romantic way?"

"Its for you to find out." sabay na sabi namin ni Kayla sa kanya habang pinupunsan yung mukha nya.

I know he'll be here any minute.

*dingdong*dingdong*

Sabi ko na nga ba. Hindi ako binigo ng instincts ko.

"I'll go." paalam ko sa kanilang dalawa at dali-daling bumaba para buksan yung pinto.

"Tito! Is Lorie here?" alalang tanong ni Justin na hinihingal at pawisan pa.

"She's upstairs. Bawling her eyes out." irap ko sa kanya.

"Sorry Tito. I'll explain myself later. I'll go to her first." paalam nya kaya gumilid ako at pinapasok sya.

Agad syang tumakbo paakyat at narinig kong sumigaw pa si Kayla.

"Ayusin mo yan Justin! Kung hindi pareho ko kayong gugulpuhin ng tatay mo gamit kamao ko!"

"Brutal ka talaga." bulong ko sa kanya habang nakabantay sa pinakababa ng hahdan.

Sasagap lang kami ng chismis.

Lorie's POV

"Lorie." he called me as he is taking my hands off my face.

"What do you want?" I said brushing his hands away from mine.

"Luh naman! Paano ako mage-explain kung hindi mo ako tititigan?" reklamo nya.

"Bakit? Mata mo ba ang magsasabi kung bakit may kasama kang ibang babae ng 4 araw?!" inis na sabi ko.

Damn! I sounded like a jealous girlfriend kahit wala namang 'KAMI'

"Hindi. Pero mata ko magsasabi kung nagsasabi ako ng totoo o hindi." he said seriously so I can't help myself and blurted out a small laugh.

"Ang cringey." comment ko. "Tsk! Wag mo ko hawakan." reklamo ko ng hawakan nya ako ulit.

"Eeeeh. Mage-explain na kasi ako. Tanggalin ko yung kamay mo sa mukha mo." angal nya kaya tinanggal ko na.

"Oh yan!" inis na tingin ko sa kanya.

He pinched my cheek and smiled. Wag kang ngumiti. Leche!

"So? Why are you not practicing with us? You haven't shown up for 4 days." reklamo.

"I w-was working on something kasi." sabi nya.

"Hindi ba makakapag-intay yun? Gaano ba ka-importante yun at mas uunahin mo pa kesa sa practice." angal ko.

"*Tsk! Bkushsjajbsixbdksks.* Basta!" biglang sagot nya pagtapos nyang bumulong.

"Fine. If you want to keep it a secret then go. Pero sino yung kasama mong babae sa may cafe kanina?"

"It was a friend." sagot naman nya.

"Friend? Where did you meet her? What's your relationship with her?" usisa ko.

"Para ka namang NBI. Can't you just trust me na she's just a friend?!" napasigaw nyang sabi kaya nagulat ako.

"FINE! FRIEND?! Pero kung makalingkis sayo daig pa syota? FRIEND?! You've been with her for 4 days behind my back tapos you want me to trust you that she's just a FRIEND?! Justin! I know I have no right to get jealous dahil wala namang tayo but I can't help it. Alam kong nabi-bwisit ka na sa akin because I've been pestering you with my confessions since we were young pero sana naman you told me na you're seeing someone! I'll accept it naman! I'll move on from you kahit na alam kong mahirap. Pero sana naman be honest with me, tell me about the things that you've been focusing on kahit as a childhood friend na lang." I cried.

"W-Wait Lorie. This is a mis-"

"Tell me. Once and for all. Do you see me as special someone or just a childhood friend?" I cut him off.

"Lorie, I.." I saw him holding back so I stopped him with my hand.

"No need. I got the answer I need." I said and left him in front of my room as I shut the door.

"Loriee!" he banged the door. But I put on my headphones and played a song with full volume.

"I don't wanna hear his voice anymore." I said softly as tears fell down from my eyes.
