"I just wanna See You"

For the next few minutes we talked about everything that's been happening in our lives. Well, obviously leaving the Ryan part, I told him everything. Finally we said our goodbyes and ended our call.

This guy certainly knows how to make me happy. And when in a happy mood, I know what to do. BAKE!

Quickly getting off the bed, I hurried towards Ali's room , happily ready to inform her about my sudden mood in baking. Without knocking, I made my way in to see her in her bed watching Netflix.

"Hey Ali. Wanna Bake?'

"Twila, seriously?? It's 4:00. I am feeling too lazy to bake right now. I'm in the middle of an thriller scene of Riverdale and also Bughead is so cute."

"Oh c'mon Ali. Don't be such a lazy ass. Complete the scene quickly and meet me in the kitchen. And moreover, we are making your favourite chocolate chip cookies."

"Really?? Ok. Fine . I am coming in 10 minutes."

"Kay kid." I left her room with a two finger salute.

By the time Ali arrived, I decided to make myself comfortable in the living room couch. And one more thing I'd like to tell you about myself. I cannot remain idle and think about nothing. Every now and then a thought would surely cross my mind. Sometimes it's pretty lame, but hey I can't help it.

So this time I was engulfed in Aiden's thoughts. I was thinking about the places I'd show him around and hang out with. And also I had promised a dinner to him. Where should I take him? I wanted to see his reaction. I was so so excited. These thoughts totally took control of my brain. And I was sitting there on the couch, smiling like a creep.

I connected my phone to the speaker and tuned in to my playlist. That's another thing about me. I love music and to dance wildly to it.When I'm sad, I listen to music. When happy, music. The first song that played was See You by Johnny Orlando. The song went on and soon I found myself jumping to the song on the couch.

"Hey girl, having all the fun alone?"

"Come on up Ali."

And the next thing I know, we were jumping on the couch, singing our heart out to the lyrics of the songs and dancing.

At last after finally getting out of breath, we both laid down on the couch.

"Okay young lady, shall we bake now?" I said chirpily after a few minutes.

"After you ma'am." Ali said in her fake serious tone while saluting at me.

We then gathered all the stuffs that we needed and I started preparing the dough.

Soon we were done with it, and I put the cookies into the oven. After some time we heard a 'ding-dong' sound , which was definitely not from the oven. It was the doorbell. Ali and I exchanged questioning looks.

"Hey Mom and Dad shouldn't be home at this time."

"Twila, what if that's a thief ? Or worse, a murderer?"

" Shut up Ali. Stop being so dramatic. You should seriously stop watching those murder mystery films." I made my way towards the door while earning a eye roll from Ali.

And when I opened the door, to my amazement I saw it was one of those faces I longed to see, A thief who stole my heart....

"Are you gonna stare at me like this or will you ask me in? Am really tired?"

"Uh..oh ...I'm really sorry. Just that I didn't expect that it'd be you Ryan. Come in." I said snapping out of my thoughts.

"Hey Ali." He said coming inside and spotting Ali.

"Hey Ryan. Nice to see you again." She said sending a smirk my way.

"So this time from the door, huh?" I asked, completely ignoring her.

"Yeah, I thought now that I can officially enter this house , so why do so much trouble?" I'd literally die if he winked at me like that once again.

"Are you coming from your practice?" Seeing him in our school teams' jersey and being drenched in sweat, I couldn't help but ask this question.

"Yeah. Coach made us practice extra time for the match tomorrow. Anyway, I'm really very hungry. And my feet led me here automatically smelling the aroma of my fav cookies?...Was my senses right Twila?"

*ting*

Our attention went towards the oven.

"Well, you're senses are perfectly normal then..." I said taking out the tray from the oven and smiling at him.

As soon as I kept the tray on the counter, both Ali and Ryan dugged into the cookies. My eyes were fixed only on that person. It really seemed that he was hungry. I couldn't help but laugh at both of them. They both looked like that kid whose mother would not allow him to eat cookies, but when he got it, he'd make sure he dived in every single bit, eating breathlessly.

"Guys, you look like you both haven't eaten for days!! Slow down."

Both of them looked at me with a puppy face and made the most innocent face that they ever could. All I could do was laugh out loud ..

After finally when the "attack" on the cookies was over, both of them went and sat on the couch. The two of them were getting along with each other so much that they probably forgot that I was in the room too. Hey, that's not fair, after all, I made the cookies..

I went closer to them to get a glimpse of what their conversation.

"Ryan, I totally agree that Chandler's funny. Hey if you want we can pull an all nighter today and watch FRIENDS. Right, Twila?"

Great. Now she knows I'm here. What should I say? I mean want him to stay but.....what about Mom and Dad?

"Fine." Was the mere response that left my mouth.

"Thanks Ali. But can I freshen up? I too can smell my body rotting now."

"Yeah,sure. You can use Twila's bathroom."

Does this girl not know about asking the person's consent before letting other people use their bathroom. But, who am I kidding? I'm happy.

"Cool." And there he went towards the room.

"Ali could you please at least ask me before making any decision? What are you gonna say to Mom and Dad?"

"Twila, thank me later. Anyways, Mom and Dad wouldn't mind him staying here."

Suddenly my brain clicked something. Shit! I have to ask Ryan about this. And I ran head over heels towards my room . But .....he has already entered. I guess , I'll just wait for him outside.
