No One's POV
Everything was as it were. Kaitou KID, stole his target, embarrassed his task force, did a little more embarrassment on a certain blond Brit detective. All was fine and good for one little thief, but things could of been even more perfect if a certain un-shrunken detective came to attend.
Really now, it's been 2 months since the take down of Japan's biggest criminal organisation, and still no signs of the detective at a heist.
Maybe it was just Kaito who thought that maybe him and the detective were more then just rivals. He thought that through the years they considered each other as... Possible friends?
How stupid it was for him to think that.
The little tantei probably just used his heists as a source of relieving stress from having to act like a child nearly all the time.
His heart clenched at the thought.
"God... I'm such an idiot"
Running along the stair case, the end of today's heist was near.
Kaito, thought about all those little chats him and tantei-kun would have, those hellish soccer balls, and the sly intimidating smirk he would get, then those pretty blue eyes that could out match any jewel he has stolen...
'Wait... What?!'
The thief was still running, his focus on his surroundings lacking ~ not that he needed to pay much attention.
'Did I just unintentionally think of tantei-kun as pretty!?'
"Shit" he whispered, practically jumping up the stairs with amazing speed.
His mind in utter termoill.
'How long have I thought of the detective like this!... I mean... he does have pretty eyes, and from the pictures of his older self I managed to gather, he seemed quite handsome to- NO! Kaito! You sound as if you're in love for something?!'
'Wait- LOVE?! DID I THINK LOVE!!??'
"Dammit!"
And it didn't help his case that after realising his train of thought and how he was feeling... satisfied, it didn't feel wrong in the lest. And that scares him. If the east detective were to come and ask the thief to hand himself in... he might just do it!
This was bad... this was really bad.
All he can hope for is that the detective will continue to not attend his heist, even if his heart cracked at the thought. He has a mission to complete, and he won't stop until he finds Pandora or before Snake ~ with his Gang ~ are behind bars.
This is KID's resolve, and he will continue until it's all over.
...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...~...
Opening the roof door, Kaito took in deep breaths for his lungs, walked up to the roof fence and gazed at the moon. Allowing his heart to calm, he raised his target towards the sliver light.
But as always... another failure.
Despite his will to keep a poker face, his gritted and his face dropped with a defeated sigh.
Seeing as it was pointless to stay, Kaito made a move to the fence, having officially deciding tonight's heist over.
But something rapped around his waist and held him back.
"Wh...what!?"
He wiggled and tried to escape, but whatever or whoever it is that is holding him, only tighten their grasp, causing a small but audible whimper to escape the Thief's lips.
