Chapter Eight

Nagkatotoo na ba ang takot niya na baka bumalik ang asawa niya sa Ex nito? Kaya ba magkasama ang dalawa pagpunta sa party?

" I have no idea if they have any relationship or who initiated the kiss. I mean Migiel kinda looked drunk but no matter what he should not be kissing his Ex. That's why I couldn't stop myself from hitting him when I saw them kissing."

Hindi siya sumagot. She couldn't find the right words to say. What's gonna happen to them now? Kaya siguro hindi man lang siya pinigilan nito nung umalis siya. Hindi rin siya kinumusta man lang nito kung may tinuluyan ba siya. If she is doing okay or if she is still alive.

" And you know what's worst? He was accusing us of having an affair. How ridiculous was that? I was trying to help you guys fix your marriage and yet I was being accused of stealing you from him. Where the hell did he get that idea? He have gone mad!" galit na sabi nito.

Hindi siya makapaniwala sa sinabi nito. Why is he accusing them of having an affair?

" Who told him about that? Why is he thinking that we are having an affair?"

Umiling-iling ito.

" I don't know. But I have a feeling that Meryll is involved in ruining your marriage. Let's say Migiel initiated the kiss but Meryll should have stop it. But the way I saw them, she was enjoying it."

Parang gusto niyang bumalik sa party at sampalin ang babae. She is not that type of person pero ganitong patong-patong na ang inis niya sa babae ay parang gusto na niyang saktan ito ng pisikal.

" What are you planning to do now? Do you want to confront him about this?" untag nito sa kanya.

Sandali siyang nag-isip. If she would confront him will it change anything? He already let her go. Should she file for divorce? Mukha namang hindi na talaga masaya si Migiel sa relasyon nila. And she also want to give herself some respect.

She is too stressed and hurt to process what happened tonight. Magulo ang utak niya. All she wants right now is to have a peaceful mind. Baka hindi na rin talaga maibabalik yung dating Migiel na minahal niya.

" I would like to file a divorce before I leave next week." biglang lumabas sa mga labi niya.

Nagulat si Cj sa sinabi niya. Hindi kaagad ito nakapagsalita.

" Are you sure about it? I mean, I know that what he did was wrong but there is always two sides of the story. Ayaw mo bang i-clarify muna ang lahat before you make a decission of filing a divorce? Or atleast clear yourself to him that we don't have any affair. Think about it again."

Umiling siya. Her heart can only take so much. Napakarami na niyang pinagdaanan this year. Hindi na nga niya alam kung paano pa siya nagpa-function everyday. The fact na pinakawalan siya ng asawa niya at hindi man lang siya hinanap ay sapat na rason na siguro para bumitiw na rin siya.

Ayaw na niyang madagdagan pa yung sakit na nararamdaman niya. She wants to live a life away from him. She wants to start with her own life. At para magawa niya iyon ay kailangan niya munang tapusin ang lahat sa kanila. And filing a divorce would be her start.

" My heart can only take so much, Cj. I am done with all his crap! Right at this moment ang gusto ko lang gawin ay umalis at lumayo na sa kanya. I want this pain to end already. And in order to stop it I need to file a divorce. I would let him live the life he wanted. Even if that life is to be with Meryll again. Bahala na siya sa buhay niya."

" If that's your decission, I would respect it. At kung talagang mahal ka ni Migiel, he would do something to win your heart again."

Tumayo na ito at saka siya inalalayan na makatayo. Niyakap siya nito nang mahigpit at sa huling pagkakataon ay hinayaan niya ang sarili niya na umiyak sa mga balikat nito. This will be the last time na iiyakan niya ang asawa niya. She would start a new life next week.
