"dad where should i put this?"

"here sweetheart" he shouted from the stock room

today is a saturday which means no classes and i get to go home since i would usually stay at my apartment near uni. my family is quite well off but it doesn't mean that we are overly wealthy, just the average. dad owns a coffee shop and mom works in a law firm so that explains why i have my own apartment.

i would help my dad every weekends at the shop, and it has its perks; free beverage and tips from the customers. oh and i get to customize my drinks every now and then

the shop is located at the end of our street, so the four idiots would also use our shop as a hangout place.

speaking about those idiots, they crashed in my place when we drank and ate chicken. they all ended up getting wasted so i had to babysit their asses which is already a normal thing for me. sometimes i wonder how are they gonna be when they find a girlfriend.

i carefully placed the boxes of god knows what it contains and massaged both of my sore arms. sitting at one of the high chairs, i opened my laptop to delete some of my folders and useless files, i like being organized

the calming sound of jazz surrounds the whole place, making me feel at ease. i turned in my painting yesterday so the weight has been lifted off of my shoulders, my professor has a satisfied look on his face.

the weather has been gloomy as june arrives. dark skies and wet surface.

"yo somi" my eyes diverted to the owner of the voice

"lisa unnie!"

she's my only girl friend, well not literally only but she's the closest one i have

"i thought you're shift doesn't start til 6?"

lisa tangled herself on to my body as i looked at the clock that's hanging on the wall. 3:17 pm. she's too early to  be here

"i took an early shift because i have to go home and pack my stuff" lisa untangles herself from our hug

"what? where are you going?" a wave of worry hits my body

"i'm going home for a while silly, mu sister's about to give birth" she pats my head "besides i'll be back in 3 weeks so don't be sad" she explains more further as i pouted more

"come on cheer up somi, you have those idiots with you! and it's time for you to meet new friends other than me" lisa untied her apron and tied her hair up after
