"Well, I bought my wife her first car" June smiled. I almost choked on the champagn-
"Your. Wife?" I asked
"Yes, my wife and I recently got married" she chuckled
"Awwww, well I hope to marry this one, one day" I smiled and I snaked my arms around Aelia's waist
"Ma'am, can I have a bottle-" a passenger called out. June smiled politely as she went away to attend to the passenger.
Suddenly a dent in my cheek pulled my attention towards them. Aelia smiled as she poked her finger into my cheek, repeating the motion.
"What are you doing" I glared
"You're really cute" she smiled wider
"You're weird" I stated
"You still love me though" she chuckled
"That.... That I do" I smiled and laid my head on her shoulder.
"Do you think we'll ever breakup?" I asked
"Um..... I'm not sure, I don't see why we ever would" she chuckled
"Plus, there's no way I'll ever let you slip through my fingers" I kissed her cheek
"You would be a dumbass to allow me to leave" she playfully warned
"Oh? Since you want to insult me, I'm leaving you right now" I smirked
"Leave then" she said in a sassy tone, I dramatically clutched my heart
"You're gonna give up on me that easily?" I chuckled
"Nooo I wuv you" she pouted
"But if we're being serious, if someone walks out on me I just wouldn't find the energy to fight. You made your choice, why would I force someone to stay in my life when they clearly don't want to?"
"You have a point... But then again, wasn't that person worth fighting for?" I asked
"Well it has nothing to do with pride But even if they're worth it, I just can't physically bare the pain of humiliating myself for someone who doesn't care" she assured
"I feel you sweetheart, I feel you" I smiled and hugged her tightly
My fingers stroked against hers, and electric charge flowed through my veins when our skins grazed against each other. I took her hands in mine and kissed her knuckles before kissing her forehead.
"I love you Luna, I love you with everything I have in me. Sometimes it's so intoxicating, I've never loved someone so much, I've never needed someone so bad. You make me feel so special Luna. You're the reason for my own personal happiness. You're the reason I'm the person I am today. You make everyone see a better version of themselves, you opened our eyes to so many things. You constantly say that you have an evilness in you.. But you're not evil, it's a label passed onto you. You're more than just a name, you're more than a moment. You're unique Luna" she whispered
Whew, it was really hard to hold back my tears. Her words echoed through my ear, a smile tugged across my lips as my heart fluttered in place.
My fingers reached out and cupped her cheeks. My lips pressed down on hers softly, our lips moved gently against each other, savouring the sweet moment spent between us.
The soft sound of the alert broke us apart, the plane had already landed but we were waiting for the permission to leave.
"I love you" I whispered, Aelia smiled and kissed my forehead before she unhooked her seatbelt
