Luna's pov

-

"I'm gonna kill you" Aelia hissed

"You can't do that, mere mortal" I teased

"There's other ways I could end you" she smirked, I raised my brow at her

"Do tell"

"I like to keep some secrets to myself"

"Ah, but a relationship is built on communication" I laughed

"Dumbass"

"I'm your dumbass" I said and kissed her cheek
"Where are we heading to now?"

"Somewhere" she smiled

I sighed and turned my attention out the window of the car. My eyes landed on the midnight sky, stars twinkled and the moon looked at us proudly. It lit the street more brightly than the lights on the golden posts.

Everything about this place was beautiful, the people were friendly, the food is to die for, not forgetting that it brings out a different part of you. Paris made me feel, giggly inside.

"Chase, how did everything go with the meeting?" Aelia asked the man

"Nothing to worry about Miss, everything's great" she smiled
"And thank you for watching Curtis, I'll happy pay you back for whatever he ordered"

"Oh relax man, he was great to have. He even played with a toy to keep him company" I smirked, I felt a punch in my side

"Ow! That hurt! You said you'd never hurt me" I pouted

"Yeah, emotionally" she said and punched me again

"I'll get you back for this" I glared

"We're here Ma'am" Chase said and whipped around to open our door

"Bye Curtis, it was nice spending time with you" I smiled and waved at the boy, he held a cheeky grin and waved again before returning back to his tablet. Ah, children these days.

"Oh.. Wow" I muttered as my eyes landed on the building before me

The glass structure was shaped into a pyramid, fountains sprouted clear water into the pool, it was lit up by golden lights all around

The glass structure was shaped into a pyramid, fountains sprouted clear water into the pool, it was lit up by golden lights all around. A stone concrete path led towards the enormous building behind it. Aelia took her hands in mine and we walked into the building, my eyes immediately landed on the ceiling.

Paintings of old ancient God's and battles of history pressed on the roof. Everything looked so, rustic. The walls were painted a light colour brown that matched the shelves that held ancient artifacts. White tiles met my feet the second I stepped in.

"Oh my God, look at that. It's uncle Herc" I giggled as I stepped closer to the bust

"Herc?" Aelia asked
