Luna's pov

-

"Shall I accompany you on your trip today ma'am" James asked as I walked down the stairs

"Thank you but I think I got it" I smiled sweetly, the dark skinned man nodded and held his hands by his side

"Here's your permission slip" Taylor said as she walked towards me

"I'm eighteen thousand years old, do I really need a permission slip" I laughed

"You're eighteen on earth and I'm basically your guardian" she smiled. I playfully glared at her

"Walk with me for a bit" I said as I headed towards the front door. I pushed past the door and unlocked my car.

"Is there something you need?" she questioned

"I miss talking to you" I said, my back pressed against the doors and my hands were stuffed into my black trousers. My gold necklace rested on my white t shirt, it sparkled under the sunlight. I had a black metal sunglass resting on the tip on my head.

"What do you mean?" she asked as she braced against the car

"What have you been up to? Are you bored here?" I asked

"I've been... Doing what I'm supposed to" she mumbled

"Come on Taylor, be honest with me" I said, my eyes met hers. She sighed and folded her arms across her chest

"I... I've been taking yoga classes" she said

"So that's where you run off to when I leave" I smiled, Taylor chuckled to herself

"I actually started taking some tennis classes too" my eyes grew wide

"No way, can I come see you?" I asked

"No, I don't want you looking at my ass in shorts!" she laughed

"What ass?"

"Oh you piece of-" she hissed, her hands pounded against my shoulder, I couldn't help but laugh

"Have you made any friends?" I asked, Taylor died down her attempt at fighting and leaned back in her place

"I actually did, her name is Beth. We're in the same yoga class, when we're finished we get some coffee" Taylor said

"Starbucks?"

"Yes, why?" she questioned

"You're turning into those typical white gi-"

"Don't be racist!" she said sternly

"My bad" I laughed
"But what's your favorite flavour coffee?"

"Pumpkin spice latt-"

"You're just proving my point! Oh my God" I laughed, Taylor started again with her swatting of her tentacles. I honestly have no idea who she's trying to hurt

"Okay okay, jokes aside. I'm happy you're making use of your time. I honestly thought you stayed at home eating cereal and threw darts at a picture of my face, cursing me for bringing you earth" I laughed

"I came to stand by you, but earth is actually starting to grow on me"

"Right? It's like I fit in here. I just feel so much better here, it kinda... Light? If that makes sense?" I said, Taylor nodded

"There's just something different about earth" she said. I sighed and glanced at my watch

"I should be heading out now, I'll see you when I get back" I smiled
