"Are you sure it's alright letting her off on her own?"

Aiden smiled and nodded, glancing at the twins in their little carriage occasionally to ensure they are still there, "Mama will be fine. I always agree to whatever she wishes to do since, she barely has the chance to do what she wants back when... You know."

The Queen of Arendelle could only close her eyes at the reminder of the monster— er, man she froze in the dark side of the kingdom.

"I'm sure she'll meet us back here in a jiffy.

Elsa nodded in an understanding way and met her children's mesmerized eyes, watching how their beautiful green and blue irises dart from left to right in amazement.

Today is the first time this precious pair get to see the outside world; properly and not by stolen glimpses on that not to be named day.

"They look quite astonished," Aiden traced his son's chin, "Liking the day so far, buddy?"

Chandler cooed in response.

"That's a question meant for you, dear," The ice queen peered over her husband nervously, hoping that the celebrant finds their current activity pleasurable.

"Why, of course I'm enjoying it so far. My wife's sitting beside me, my children gets to see what the world really looks like, I got the Clockmaster sequel manuscript, all of that simply makes this day one in a million."

"That's a relief to know," Elsa rested her head against her husband's shoulder in contentment. A gloved hand pushed her way too closely, but she liked the feeling, anyway.

"Although, was it necessary to be cooped up in here?"

Elsa laughed lightly at his question, "It is only proper, Aiden. You know how people are... I want us, I want you, most especially, to be comfortable as possible."

"Thanks, then. I like it here better than the ice cream parlor," He sniffed the air and grinned, "Oh, that must be ours."

"What did you order again? Something with beef, right?"

"Bon appetit, your majesties," A stout, well uniformed waiter arrived by the doorway, balancing two large silver trays on top of his two hands in glee. He placed several dishes in front of the couple who examined their meal and giddily grabbed on each of their utensils.

"Would you like anything else, your majesties?"

Aiden, still awestruck, shook his head like a dog by the sight of his beloved bone. The server lowered into a bow and left the private room after wishing the pair a good meal.

The fire wielder's pupils went bigger in size as they sparkled hungrily at the appetizing sight of the food.

"Tell me I'm not dreaming," He murmured ravenously.

"This is too good to be true," Elsa gaped, "Just promise me that we're walking three kilometers after this."

"W-will do."
