TRAINING GROUNDS

"Are you really sure this is a good idea?"

Aiden smiled lightly and nodded, "This is more than necessary. I fully trust that you won't go out of control, not this time. You did mention that this demon of yours feeds on roaming hatred, am I correct?"

"Yes," Kangree confirmed.

The fire king carefully eyed the doorway where a certain General stood, holding something behind his back which really made the runaway prince suspicious.

"Consider this as a form of admonishing, Kangree," Aiden waved his gloved hand towards Magoo's direction, who complied by approaching the duo affirmatively, "And you don't have to be so apprehensive."

The tongue tied General shot the fire wielder an unsure stare, "Can't we at least put on his cuffs so his actions are secured to be safe?"

Kangree blinked.

"Magoo," Aiden hissed, "You're not helping at all."

"Like he would be," His former trainer rebutted, "Besides, are you even certain that this little formulated plan will work?"

"I'm helping someone out," Aiden firmly acknowledged, "Someone who is a slave to deeds he doesn't want to do, and urges he doesn't want to get. Have not you realize that I was in the same state as him before?"

Magoo's face dropped in guilt.

"You make a great point."

"Then I see no reason fit not to help him," The King of Arendelle declared, "Let's get to work, Kangree, step forward."

The teenager slowly took a few steps, his head stiffly in a low bow since he wanted to avoid eye contact.

Aiden cleared his throat and snatched something from his former trainer's tight hold, "Do you know what you lack, Kangree?"

The fifteen year old lifted his head and tried blankly, "... Confidence?"

The dark haired king shook his head at the wrong answer, "You lack assertiveness. You lack dominance," He corrected, "You need to take control over this demon of yours if you can't break this curse."

"I-i'm trying to." He lowly rustled.

"I'm sorry, but it doesn't seem like you are. Kangree, always remember that you have two options of who you want to be in your life," Aiden snapped.

"It's either you're the slave, the person who just does another's bidding. But you can also be the chief; an independent one who can row your own boat and choose which direction you want to take."

Magoo gripped the younger boy's shoulders in a steadfast way, "Now, lad. Who do you want to be? The chief... Or the slave?"

The young boy's reply was barely a whisper, "The chief, of course."

"Then..." Aiden trailed off before smirking slyly, "Do whatever it takes to get this."

Kangree's pupils dilated as a familiar object came into full sight.
