《A W O R L D N O T S O N I C E》
- - -
Melting Ice,
Scalding lies.
Burning cries,
Fading smiles.A world,
Not so nice.
Torn apart,
Right at the seams.
Falling, breaking,
No one feels,
The pain lurking within. All grey and bland,
So black and white.
Tainted smiles,
Seething scars,
A world all too dark.Watch as we might,
Ignore as we'd like.
Hopes for a beam of light,
Shattered in the darkest of nights.Surreal fears,
Twisted ears.
A mighty fate,
Acceptance in tears.Shells of masks,
Strewn all around.
A fixed frown,
Silent tears unheard.Wait as we must,
For dawn to spill.
Up and above a horizon of dust,
And banish the everlasting chill.- Copyrighted by A. Y. Eirlys
