Ashlee’s p.o.v.

So I'm Ashlee Mcclough. I've been through a lot in my life and this is how it all started.

‘pssh, Ash’

I looked up and saw Spencer behind me ‘Are you ready?’ she asked me.

Brandon, a friend, and I were standing behind his Macbook, trying to start the video that Spencer, Ryan, Justin and me had made for Emily and Chaz.

‘Eh.. Are we ready Bran?’

He clicked on some icons while he looked at his computer with a serious face ‘Eh, yeah we’re ready’

After the 6 of us had the best summer ever in California, it was now time to say goodbye. Beause Emily and Chaz would go Europe. They had made a deal with a family in the Netherlands. They would stay there for 5 months and next year a Dutch boy and girl would come to the States. So we organized a goodbye party for them.

‘Okay, just wait with the video till I give the sign’

‘yes ma’am’ Brandon nodded

Spence and I stood in the middle of Em’s livingroom. Spence cleared her throat ‘Hey everyone, we wanna say something’

They stopped talking and looked at us. Spence began to talk ‘Well, as we all know 2 of our good friends are gonna go the Netherlands for a while’ She looked at Em and C. who were standing next to eachother in the front. ‘We hope you guys enjoyed your last night here..’

They both smiled and nodded ‘..But unfortunately the party’s almost over. We only have a little 30 mins left because they have to catch their flight tonight. but before you’ve to go, Ash and I wanna read from this’ she held a pink notebook in the air. With golden letters there was written:

Emily

‘Oh my god’ Emily laughed ‘where did you get that from..’

‘This was our “friendship book”. We wrote in it about what was going on, about school, about boys, about everything actually. Like a diary. And Ash and I found a couple of pages where Emily wrote about how she met Chaz’

People began to cheer.

‘Oh no’ Em held her hands against her face as Chaz laughed and put his arm around her.

I smiled and began to read

‘Dear Ash&Spence,

OMG, I saw a cute boy at school today! I’ve never seen him before but you know that boy..eh..Ryan, right? I think he’s one of his friends. And guess what.. He smiled at me! Ahw, he’s hot’

Everyone laughed but Em’s head was red like a tomato

‘And then a few days later she wrote this’

I saw him again today and I know his name! I was walking through the hallway with all my books and stuff and then I tripped. And HE was standing there too. First I thought SHIT, now he’s never gonna like me but then he gave me and hand and helped me to get up and said: hey I’m Chaz. His name’s CHAZ!!!’

I looked up ‘And then there’re 2 pages with Chaz Chaz Chaz Chaz’ we laughed

I was so nervous, omg. I couldn’t even remember my name. I was like H-hi, I- I’m..Eh..Emily. EMBARASSING. Oh, I’m so stupid!
