it still doesn't feel real. like, my best friend of 12 years decided one day that 'i'm not good for him' and i don't even know what that means.

like suddenly i'm some shitty, toxic, person?

we fought, and we fought dirty, but i always thought we were okay in the end.

maybe i shouldn't have assumed.

maybe i shouldn't have trusted that you got over things as easy as i do.

the weird thing is, this wasn't even a fight. you just said, and i quote, "i don't think you're good for me, i don't want to be friends anymore." we didn't even fight or argue. you said that and that was it.

i asked why, you said it just doesn't feel right, and i asked if this was for real.

you didn't reply

and i knew then that you didn't care enough to say yes.
