ARENDELLE CASTLE, GREAT HALL

"W-where... Where am I?"

"I could ask the same for you, where did you exactly come from?"

Kangree's eyes immediately lost their drowsiness, and he didn't know which feeling to focus on. The fast pace of his heartbeat or the throbbing pain that can be found on the top of his skull.

A pair of beautiful blue eyes met his bleary yellow ones, which caused his breaths to grow more shallow. And for once in his life, he begged, let me breathe.

"Probably a teenager playing around back then."

"Don't be silly, he looks like an outsider. He's obviously not from around here, no less from the Northuldra."

Aiden narrowed his eyes respectively, his green irises scanning the boy's kneeling form up and down. He cleared his throat before finally speaking, "Mags, he looks like he could use a good shove to wake up his senses."

Before the masked prince can even take one glance at the mentioned General, his cheek made contact with the cold, polished floor.

"What the— URK!" He yelped.

A hard pressure squeezed the other side of his face, and his pupils shrunk once he caught the sight of the buff built man.

Elsa returned to her husband's side, face no longer demure personified; but furious and interrogating. "What do you have against the Northuldra?!"

Aiden gently rubbed her shoulder, "Calm down, sweet. The lad just woke up."

"I'll calm down once he gives us an entirely valid explanation," Elsa snarled abruptly, shooting the chained teenager a sharp glare, "A tribe lost their home because of your reckless doing."

"My body was just the tool, it wasn't actually my doing."

The Queen of Arendelle folded her arms and muttered something incoherent under her breath, taken back by the culprit's confident claim, "Jævla deg."

"Darling, I can understand Norwegian now, you know," Aiden chided lightly, "That's not very nice."

The pretty faced ice queen huffed and murmured an apology. Aiden chuckled softly and rested his hand on top of hers in comfort, before retreating his gaze back to the teenager.

He smirked.

The audacity.

"It's very simple, young man," He closed his eyes calmly, "You are to admit what really happened if you are in denial of your serious offense. I'd rather let the culprit speak for himself than get the wrong idea of larceny."

How could this guy remain so calm, Kangree bit back an annoyed groan, right in front of someone who burned half of a forest, no less.

"I have no intention of taking something which is not lawfully mine!"

"Watch your tongue, kid," A deep voice intervened, "That's the king you're speaking to!"

"Oh no, just let him, Captain Lars," Aiden insisted, "Perhaps this will trigger him."
