"Ms. Ahn, wait!" Y/n exclaimed, but she was too late and Ms. Ahn swung the door open.

"Sir are you-"

The man turn toward the teacher and Ms. Ahn gasped with the rest of the class.

The man had a long gash that ran down to his chin from his eyebrow, like he had been stomped on. His left eye was bruised and puffy, and his veins were visible. What Y/n noticed first however, was that his eyes were a light misty blue, like he was blind.

The man growled suddenly, locking his misty eyes onto Y/n, who widened hers.

Out of nowhere, the man jumped onto Y/n, without a single word. They both dropped to the ground, Y/n struggled to hold the man's face away from her. The man chomped his teeth at her as she tried to get him off. The pressure was lifted from her as she heard a loud bang, the man falling to her side.

Y/n looked up at her savior, her eyes trailed from the bloody bat to his face, surprised to see jet-black hair and certain prominent eye-bags.

"Thanks," Y/n said, getting up, "Sunwoo."

Sunwoo nodded, throwing the bat to the side. Y/n turned towards the man, putting two fingers on his neck. She huffed, not feeling any pulse whatsoever.

"What's wrong with him?" A student asked with concerned eyes.

"I don't know, he could have been drunk." Y/n whispered, even though that wasn't the case when she saw a small imprint of a bite near his ankle.

The group walked back inside the classroom, seeing as there was an actual threat, it was better to be safe than sorry. Y/n grabbed the bloody bat, and walked inside as well.

As of now, everyone was more alert. There were people attacking the school and they didn't want to be the next victim. Their eyes were filled with worry and their brows furrowed as they tried to contact their families.

A student, a girl with curtain bangs and jeans with a short sleeved shirt tucked in unlocked her phone, curious to know what was going on and why people were attacking.

"Ms. Ahn, c-can you take a look at this?" The girl asked, her face pale.

Ms. Ahn perked up at the mention, and turned towards the student. The student raised her hand and beckoned her over, which Ms. Ahn obliged, walking towards the student.

The group gathered around her, all curious about the outside world, even though they had only been stuck in there for a few minutes. Jacob stood up with Y/n and walked over with the rest of the class including Sunwoo who seemed to have isolated himself in a corner before joining the group.

It was a video, on a news website that mostly everyone in the school used to know about the latest gossip, but this was far from meaningless conspiracy theories. It was a video that looked like it was taken from a popular morning news channel both Jacob and Y/n have never seen. They don't watch the news often so what would they know?

The news reporters, a woman in her late 20's and a man, around early 30's looked incredibly anxious, worried and pale. The woman's voice was shaky when she explained what was happening, and the man kept fidgeting with his watch.
