The Pogues finally made it to the shore and as soon as they could and they all gathered around the bag John b found in the boat.

"What do you think it is?" Kie asked her friends

"Gotta be money, right?" John b said. Summer walked up to his side smiling at him.

"That or a couple of keys with street value to the low mind-Mils" JJ said excited

"Can we please just open the bag?" Pope asked frustrated making everyone turn to look at him

"Wow Pope, that's a rare outburst of emotion" John b exclaimed making the rest laugh

"Okay, you guys are killing me with anticipation" Pope said

"Go on open the bag, JB" Summer told him

John b opened the back and inside of it they found another bag, quite funny. Opening the other bag they only found a compass, an old golden compass.

"Yup, that's about right" Pope groaned "Good job everybody, we found a compass" Pope whined, he was obviously still shaken about what had happened earlier

Summer looked at John b, he didn't say anything, he just stared at the compass thinking.

"What are you thinking?" She asked him placing a hand on his shoulder

"This is my fathers" he said making his friends all turn to him

Summer walked down the stairs of her house to be greeted by her brother. Great. She didn't want anymore drama so she just walked pass him taking her car keys in the process.

"Not even good morning?" He said making Summer turn around

"Not in the mood" she simply replied

"Oh c'mon Summer, I wasn't gonna drown him" Topper said walking closer to his sister

"Okay" she said turning around to leave once again

"Just like that?" Topper asked her before she could leave

"Look Top, there's somewhere I'm supposed to be. I don't have time for your shit right now" Summer said finally opening the door and leaving

She was on her way to pick up JJ and John b in her car when she tought about the mess she was always in. She wasn't a full Kook and neither a full Pogue, being in the middle was the worst. That lead to situations like the one she was currently in, she couldn't pick sides between her brother and best friends.

"Wow, I never had such a pretty Uber driver" JJ joked when Summer got to his house

"Shut up!" She laughed opening the door for him

"Ah! I love your car" JJ told her as he examined her car. They were used to John b's old rusty van so Summer's convertible was an extreme upgrade. "So...you and JB, huh?" JJ raised his eyebrows at Summer

"There's nothing going on and you know it, J. You would be the first one to find out" she told him taking a turn towards John b's house

"Oh so you hugging and being all over each other at all times means nothing, right?" JJ asked his friend

"We are just closer than before, that's it" Summer shrugged

"You like him" JJ stated

"What?" Summer looked at him

"It's so obvious, but don't worry S, he likes you too" The blond boy told his friend as she just rolled her eyes

"Nothing it's going to happen, J. We have rules" she said getting closer to John b's
