The five teens were in their boat on the way to the motel, they weren't going to miss on an adventure and surely, not in one like that.

"I'm never going back to New York if all the time is going to be like this" Summer sat down next to John b, she was still wearing his shirt.

"Good, because I don't want you to go" John b threw an arm around her

The rest of their friends looked at them, they just thought how good the two would look together, if only they saw it too

"I'm sorry, JB" she turned to look at him, who just frowned

"For what?" He asked her confused

"For not being here when you needed me with everything going on with your father" she said honestly

"You called me everyday, Sum. You did everything you could and I'm more than grateful. You helped me a lot with just hearing your voice and telling me everything was going to be okay" he said looking straight at her brown eues

"I mean. It's my duty as best friend" she smiled at him

"Yeah" he smiled back and turned to look at the rest of his friends

The arrived at the motel and it looked like one of those in the movies in the ones where you end up dead, yeah definitely those ones.

"So what's the plan?" Kie asked

"I know how we're gonna find the guy who owns the boat" John b said

"We don't know whose room that is, it could be anyone" Pope told him

"I'm in" JJ grabbed the keys

"Me too" Summer stood up next to JJ

"C'mon. I'll be lookout" Kie told them

"Finder's fee, just sayin' and at least you'll only be an accomplice" John b said convincing Pope

"Never refuse an adventure, Pope" Summer smiled at the boy

"And I thought The Château looked bad. You might want to cover your eyes, princess" JJ said putting a hand on her eyes when they parked at the motel

"This place is a shitshow" John B said looking at the interaction between JJ and Summer

"Motel or meth lab" Kie asked sarcastically

"Uh...both?" Summer said looking at the place

"Doesn't look like a place someone with a Grady-white would stay" John b pointed out

"No, it looks like a place someone with a Grady-white gets killed" Pope said making the rest groan

"This is your captain speaking, HMS Pogue coming in for landing" JJ said making sure the boat stayed in place

"All right, here goes nothing" John b said getting off the boat

"Let's go guys" Summer said following right after him

"Wait, you coming?" John b turned around to ask her. He didn't want the girl in any kind of dangerous situation

"You thought she wouldn't?" JJ laughed grabbing Summer's arm for her to join him
