Chapter 5 - I'm a boy though?

"You're a really fun team,yah know that." Lei said while chuckling lightly. "But you got it all wrong, I'm not applying to be a manager....I'm actually applying as a player."

"Heh?!"

"Oi oi chibi-chan! are you joking? Cause if you haven't notice, this is a boys team." Tsukkishima stated while smirking at the end.

Lei frown at the teasing remark of the pale blonde teen. Not really understanding what he's pointing out but after registering his words the boy immediately became angry.

"Yahh! Did you just said that I'm dumb?! A-and wait! Chibi-chan?! For your information I'm taller than Shoyo!" Lei yelled at the pale blonde haired teen. While pointing an accusing finger at him.

"Y-Yah why is my height included  their?!" Hinata shouted. Embarassed when they pointed out his hight.

"HAHHAHAHAHAHH!" the two second year laugh at the three fighting individual. Obviously enjoying the show way to much.

"You're laughing way to much Nishinoya-san, when you're obviously shorter than Hinata." Enoshita taunted at the still laughing second year.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY, ENOSHITA?!"

"Nothing~"

"That's the only things you've notice? You really are dumb, Oujo-san~ (lady)." Tsukkishima smirk at the fuming teen. Amused with how easy it is to irritated him.

"O-Oujo-san?! I am not a lady! I'm a man!" Lei stated while fuming at the accusation of being called a female and the worst thing is that, it happens two times already.

"This feels like deja vu." The coach thought while sweat dropping at the scene in front of him.

While Lei is still fuming with being called a female, the rest of the players is just looking at him dumbfoundedly, still registrating the 'boys' words. Even Kageyama who normally wore a stone face is also dumbfounded.

"Did she just said that she's a man?" Tanaka blankly asked Nishinoya. Still dumbstruck with the revelation.

"Beats me. I think I'm hearing things." Nishinoya responded while looking at Lei up and down.

"YAHH! What are you all looking at me like that?! It's like you don't  believe what I just said!"

"We really dont!" The team yelled simultaneously in their head.

The team look at the self-proclaimed boy's face with a complicated look while inspecting every inch of his face that would prove his statement true.

"Almost shoulder length strawbery blonde hair that curls a bit at the end. White and tender looking pretty face that is clearly above average."

No matter how hard they look the boy in front of them he doesn't look like a boy at all but maybe it's because his hair is a bit long than most boys and fact that it curls a bit, that it seems to make his face appear more cuter.

Nishinoya suddenly turn his attention to Asahi and Asahi feeling the a stare directed to him stare back with a questioning look on his face.

"But Asahi-san has longer hair but doesn't look a bit like a girl! So maybe it's really his face!" Nishinoya thought deeply with a face that seems like his solving the biggest mystery ever.

"Well she-, I men he is flat but their are a lot of flat but cute girls!" Tanaka thought looking at the boy up and down.

"Hai Hai! Lets end this discussion for now. It's getting late so make sure you rest well and get ready for your training camp tomorrow! Okay?! " The coach decided to intervene because he feels like they would still a need a few hours before this new information sink in for them.

"Yes Coach!!" The team responded.

"LEI-CHANN!!"

The strawberry blonde haired boy turn around after hearing his name being called out. He stop walking waiting for Hinata to catch up to him with bicycle.

"Hmmm..Hey! Shoyo! Are you going this way too?" Lei asked while slightly tilting his head to the right. A few seconds later, Hinata manage to catch up to the boy. Exhaling lowly as he aswered the boy.

"Yup! But Sugoi! Lei-chann!! Why didn't you tell me your a guy in the first place?!" Hinata asked loudly. While looking at the boy with sparkling eyes.

The boy frown at the question of his friend. His been contemplating about about it after being mistaken as a girl, that the boy can't help but to question his face.

"Ne Shoyo, do I really don't look like a guy?" The boy asked pouting at the thought that maybe he really is not manly enough. That time after time his being mistaken as his opposite gender. Even Shoyo's first thought of him as a girl.

Hinata felt awkward about that question, maybe he should not have asked that question in the first place. Should he be direct or sugarcoat it a bit?

"W-well yeah?.. B-but not in a bad way or anything! Its just that your really pretty! Like your prettier than most girl that I've ever seen but you're a guy and..a-and I mean it as a compliment though! GAhhh sorry I'm rumbling!" Hinata said while bowing down deeply due to embarrassment. His cheeks tainted red as he feel the boy in front just staring at him.

"Hehe...HeheHAHAHAAHAHA! Don't worry I got what you mean. Thank you Shoyo, for making me feel good about myself. I really appreciate it." Lei said while while smiling brightly at the boy. A blush coloring his pale white plum cheeks.

Hinata stared at the boy in front of him, mesmerized with the way he look right now as his jaw slacken a bit, the red hue on his cheeks only intensifying the more he look at him.

"Badumb! Badumb!"

"W-What is that?! Did that came from my chest?!" Hinata thought while placing his right hand towards the place of his chest. A bit freak out with what's happening to his body. Hinata being dazed did not notice that his friend already started moving without him.

"Hey! You've been stuck there for a while now! Are you going to just stay there?!" Lei while waving his hands shouted at Hinata. Which seems to snap the boy out of his daze.

"H-Hai! I-I mean No! Wait for me!!" Hinata shouted while running after the boy who left him in daze with his bike.

"Hey! You're part of the team now right?!" After catching up to the boy, Hinata asked a question while pushing his bike forward.

"Mmmmm.. I suppose~"

"Then you would be able to join the training camp, right?!" Hinata excitedly asked while looking at his friend with a bright smile.

"Yup! The coach told me to get ready for it and that I should pack some stuffs cause it would be for a few days! Now that you mention it! I'm getting excited for it!"

"Right?! Right?! Me too! I'm also excited for it! It's my first time that's why I can't wait for tomorrow to start!" Hinata agreed with her statement while smiling excitedly. That he can't help but walk a bit more faster. Lei seeing it, decided to match his friend paced and easily caughting up with him.

"Wow! Now I also can't helped for tomorrow to start!" Lei smile brightly at what he said while looking at his friend, both of them sharing a big smile with each other.

"Let's make the best of it! Okay?!" Hinata said while pointing his fist up in the air.

"Mmmmm! Then let's race up to that hill!" Shouted Lei while already running a head of Hinata.

"Y-Yahh!! That's unfair! Don't false start with me!" Hinata shouted. Also running after his friend.
