And that's a wrap! After doing a lot of frenzied writing this past week, with many early mornings, Hive Island - The Awakening is completed. I've always wanted to write a zombie story and although it still needs work, it feels good to get it out of my system.
You may notice that I left the story open-ended on purpose. That does not mean that I have a sequel planned. It's merely that ending the story on an open note fits with the purpose: it's an awakening, a new chapter in the world of zombies. Although I have some thoughts on what might happen next, for the time being they're just that. When the zombie bug bites next, maybe I'll explore that.
Until then, I'll be shifting my focus to my Wattys efforts. You can follow my diary of sorts with My Journey To The Wattys. I'm documenting my progress there.
My Wattys project, should you be interested in some action-packed sci-fi, you should add The Departure Protocol to your reading list. It'll take you to another world where nothing is as it seems. Coming soon to a Wattpad! Likely early June.
For some of my existing stories, there's always The Descent and Intervention. The Descent is set in the future on a distant planet. It's an action packed thriller that will take you across the universe in search of a mysterious mastermind that will stop at nothing to get what they want.
Intervention is a dystopian sci-fi that'll take you on a journey of betrayal, where the main character Lincoln must decide between saving the woman he loves (but who also betrayed him) and a society that gave him everything. Can a betrayal save the world or will it doom them all?
That's that, my friends. Thank you to all of those that read this story. It's appreciated and you have my gratitude.
Until the next adventure.
