It's a busy street in London. Hundreds of people in one of the thousands of streets in central London. Off catching the next train, catching buses, meeting deadlines and appointments. We see a vast diversity of people wandering through London. Eventually, we see Martha Jones walking down the street with a backpack. Reminiscent of when we first see her in her first story, she has defiantly grown since she first met the Doctor. In fact, this sequence takes place almost exactly the same way the first time we saw Martha. She holds her more up to date phone to her ear, as she in communication with her family. Martha is first talking to her mum, Francine. We alternating shots of the pair. Francine is busying at home laying out the table in the dining room of her house. It has hardly changed. The furniture, wooden tables, colour scheme etc remain intact as was before – even by now in 2017. The way Francine is stressfully expressing herself in her body and the layout

of the table can hint that some big reunion is about to take place. A family get together? Six places are served. This must be strictly for the immediate family and one other. A very important get together this must be. The point in Martha's timeline will all be explained...

Martha:

Hello?

Francine:

Martha? Where are you?

Martha:

I'm ten minutes out.

Francine:

You haven't brought your latest male associate with you? I've laid an extra sitting for him in case he's coming. Although it will more likely be for your father's latest woman.

Martha:

Mum, we agreed it was just the immediate family. You said it yourself.

Francine:

Well you know what your father is like. Sometimes I wished I never met him.

Martha:

Look this was meant to be a big family reunion. It's 2017 now Martha, eight years since you were closer to any one of us.

Francine:

Only because you have been busy with that stupid U.N.I.T and Torchwood.

Martha:

Mum! I've been fighting for you. I've been fighting for you, Mickey, Cleo, Tish, dad, and for everyone!

Francine:

Oh, I'm sorry Martha. I shouldn't be taking it out on you. I just want to make sure nothing goes wrong with it.

Martha:

You feeling alright about it?

Francine:

Oh, of course I'm not. Something will go wrong.

Martha's phone is ringing again; it's Cleo.

Martha:

Sorry Mum, I'll go Cleo on the phone. I'll call you back. Bye.

Francine:

Yes, but Martha...

The call has ceased. Martha joins in with a new conversation with Cleo.

Martha:

Hello?

We see Tish in front of the mirror adding on some makeup, wearing something suitable for a family reunion. She now adds on some lipstick as he holds her phone before she brushes her hair. We see them alternate shot from Martha in London to Tish in her bedroom.
