They have that sarcastic tone, Rumi is probably sick of everyone's shyt and so is Mermista. With what happened to Sealineas in Mer-mysteries, I can see Rumi reacting the same way Mermista did.
Mermista likes Mystery stories so like, that's funny because Rumi probably would kill everyone.
She also got hella pissed after what happened to Entrapta and I can see her getting the same way with Emi's 'death'.
And uh- Mermista has a love interest named SeaHawk and Rumi and Hawks :/ stop me now.
Should I make Emi's hair the same as Entrapta's? I didn't do that with everyone else so I don't wanna make it out of character, but Entrapta's hair is extremely important with her abilities.
(And you have to watch Mer Mysteries to know why it says 'not really a princess anymore'. I'm recapping rn so I'll figure out if she still is.)
