10. Getting caught

"I think I'm in big trouble". I said seriously as I sat down with my friends at our lunch table, finally.

"What did you do?". Suho asked worried.

I looked back at the table where my stepbrothers where sitting and I saw Jungkook just staring at me with a mad expression. "I made Jungkook mad...". I told them.

All my friends turned around tonthe table they were sitting at, making it totally not obvious we were talking about them. "What made him this mad? I mean he's looking at you as if he's going to burry you alive". Ye-jun asked me as he saw Jungkook's expression.

"I told Yoongi that he's my favorite". I told them. They all looked confused.

"I don't get it, why would that make him mad". Ye-jun asked.

"On the way to school Jungkook-ah told me he wants to be my favorite brother and I don't know why but he's taking it really seriously". I explained to them. "But Jungkook's attitude was annoying me, so that's why I told Yoongi that he is my favorite from all of them". I told my friends

All my friends had made a face that told me they kind of understood what was going on.

"If your mom wasn't married to your stepdad you would be dead by now". Lae then joked to make the atmosphere a little lighter.

"If my mom didn't marry Mr Kim, I wouldn't be here in the first place". I sight while taking a bite from my lunch.

School was finally over and it was time for me to get to work. I know that if I would tell one of my stepbrothers that I'm working that they would stop me, so I need to make up an excuse why I won't be home for a few more hours.

After I walked out of my last class, I walked towards my locker and saw Jungkook standing there with an annoyed expression.

"What are you doing here Jungkook-ah?". I asked while opening my locker to get some stuff that I will need before leaving.

"What do you think? I'm driving you". He told me.

"I'm not going home with you. I'm going to study at Lae's place". I told him. I mean he can't say no to a study session at a friends house, right?

"Why do you need to study, I don't know of any upcoming tests?". Jungkook said questionable. Well these guys don't really seem focused on school so it wouldn't really surprise me if they would forget about some tests.

"Lae told me she's really good at math so I asked her to help me out". I explained. I'm really bad at math, my score is always below 65%.

He kept quiet for a while before answering. "Well, you're not going to Lae's Place or whatever her name is". I looked at him dumbfounded. Why is he like this? How can you not let someone study at her friend's house?

Maybe it's time for plan B.

"If you let me study at Lae's place for this one time... I will take back what I said about Yoongi being my favorite". I told him while giving him my cutest look. I saw him scrunch his face. "Please, Jungkook-ah?".

"Nope". He simply answered.

Ohw come on, why is he so stubborn? How the hell am I going to work if he won't even let me stay over at a friends house. He's acting like he has been my brother for forever-

Of course.

"Please, oppa". I then said. Is there a trash can near? I need to puke.

Jumglook looked kinda surprised but hid it immediately. "Okay but only on one condition...". He sighed. "Send me the address and I will pick you up at your friends place at 8". He told me, wait 8? I have work until 9 tonight.
