//Brie's POV//
Camp Half-Blood was weird. Like, beyond weird. Brie couldn't help but feel lost as she looked around at everyone having sparing matches or playing volleyball. She felt a light tap on her shoulder and spun around. In front of her stood a tall girl with blonde curls and sharp grey eyes. She had a slight smile on her face as she help out her hand.
" I'm Annabeth, i'm the Athena's cabin counselor. What cabin are you in?" she asked. "Hecate," Brie mumbled. Annabeth nodded her head. "Well, come with me. I'll show you around," she followed Annabeth through the camp as she took her on a tour around the camp. Annabeth was really nice and she loved to read, much like Brie. Everything was going great until something, more like someone, caught her eye.
"Who's that over there? And why is his camp shirt blue instead of orange?" She asked. Annabeth immediately chuckled, without even looking to see who it was. She turned towards Brie and looked in the boys direction. "That's Percy. He has this weird obsession with the color blue, so after a lot of convincing, Chiron finally let him change his color," she said. Brie laughed lightly before they continued the tour.

The next few days went by in a blur. All of Brie's siblings were pretty nice, but her attention couldn't help but stay drawn to Percy Jackson, the boy Annabeth mentioned. Apparently he was pretty popular around camp, but none of the girls there would make a move. He must have a girlfriend, Brie thought. But what was so special about her? Truly he could do better, right? Brie felt down most of the day, until Annabeth came over to her towards the start of the campfire. "So how's camp so far?" she asked her.
Brie struggled to find the right words. "It's been pretty cool. Weird, but cool," Annabeth let out a laugh and Brie could tell she was an easy going person while she was at camp. After Annabeth left, she couldn't help but stare at Percy. He seemed so comfortable with most of the people there. She heard someone clear their throat behind her. She turned and saw Clarisse, one of the older campers, watching her in amusement.
"I wouldn't mess with Jackson over there. His girlfriend is pretty, well, she's pretty scary," Brie looked at her in confusion. How could anyone at this camp scare that many people from shooting their shots? Clarisse obviously saw the look of confusion on her face because she just shook her head and chuckled. "You'll understand eventually," she said, patting Brie on the head.

Brie glanced back over at Percy, only to see Annabeth sitting next to him along with another redheaded girl and a few other campers. She shook her head and headed to her cabin, wanting to catch up on sleep.

-----
If it wasn't obvious that Percy adored his blue shirts, it was now. He came rushing into the dining pavilion with an orange camp shirt on instead of his regular blue. "Has anyone seen my blue camp shirt?" he asked. Some people shook their heads while other people snickered. Why did they think it was funny? The poor guy couldn't find his shirt. He shook his head and walked out, muttering something about checking his cabin. As soon as he left, Annabeth appeared out of nowhere, literally, holding a yankees hat in her hand. But more importantly, she had an oversized blue camp shirt clinging to her, with the ends tied at the bottom. Brie's heart dropped to her stomach. Annabeth was his girlfriend? And she never told her? The laughing got louder and Annabeth pressed a finger to her lips, gesturing for everyone to stay quiet. She held up three fingers and lowered them one at a time, as if counting down. As soon as her last finger was down, Percy came running back in.
"ANNABETH!!" She quickly pulled her cap back in as he ran over to where she just was. People laughed loudly, even Chiron was enjoying the show. Annabeth yanked off her hat and laughed loudly. Percy tackled her into the grass. Brie's chest felt heavy, but at the same time she was happy for her friend. "I couldn't help it!" Annabeth exclaimed. "This shirt is way more comfortable than the normal ones!"

Chiron gave a snort, as if offended by the words. Percy climbed off of her and helped her up, leading her to the Poseidon table. They sat and ate breakfast as if this was a normal thing for them. Brie felt someone come up behind her and there stood Clarisse. "I told you, she's scary," she said teasingly. Brie laughed along with her, ignoring the jealousy that was slowly bubbling down in the pit of her stomach. She would find the right person eventually, but she could only hope they would be as amazing for her as Percy was for Annabeth.
