i kindly ask you to read this! i know most of you wont, but at least skim through, it contains crucial information for my story. i will NOT be answering any questions that are already answered here because you were too insincere to spare half a minute.
basic things you need to know:
- currently not updating (as of 27/11/2020). no, it's not abandoned, i do plan on continuing and finishing this in the near future.
- will have two endings! one sasunaru (fem!sasuke), one kakanaru.
as of the 28th of april, 2020, i started updating this fanfic. as of today (the 27th of november, 2020) i still haven't completed going through it! i've edited up to the end of chapter eleven, but ive been doing many things on the side (moving, character building, other fics) which has slowed me down. this fanfiction is not my priority, and while i would love to finish it, it is currently getting in the way of my personal life, and i dont want to worry about stressing over it much longer. ill update/edit when its comfortable towards me time-wise. thank you for understanding.
anyways, three weeks ago, i had posted an update explaining that there will be two endings with two different pairings. the first is, obviously, SASUNARU with female!sasuke. i posted a poll to see what the second pairing should be. eventually, KAKANARU won out in the end. The second ending of this fic will be KAKANARU. while i understand some people are uncomfortable with a gay pairing, you dont even have to acknowledge it exists, since there will be two.
as you go through my story, there will be some unclear aspects to it that i will clear up here. i would have added them in the re-edit, but they were just too abstract to shove them in the pacing and call it a day.
- the third ninja war ended when naruto turned 4 years old. this was made to accommodate the de-aging of kakashi's generation as well as justifying an action that comes much later on.
- kakashi is 17, and itachi is 16. anyone else in kakashi's generation (asuma, gai, kurenai, obito, etc) are at least two years older than him.
- yes, hiruzen is still alive. i kinda just forgot about him lol
- orochimaru is good. self-explanatory. arent enough stories like that.
- yes, both kakashi and itachi still went into ANBU. though because of my timeline, itachi went in before kakashi. i make up for it though by calling kakashi the 'deadliest shinobi', explained further in later chapters.
- NO, CURRENTLY, I AM NOT CONTINUING TO WRITE MORE CHAPTERS OF THIS STORY. i know it might be unclear because i havent posted a new chapter since april, but as soon as i am finished editing to accommodate any overpowering/plot holes/plot changes/last minute decisions, i will continue.
- NONE OF THE SPECIALS (halloween special, future christmas special, etc.) are canon to the story. they are side tangents and are made to give people a break and a light chapter.
anything after that i will add to later. ive put countless hours of time into what i currently have, so please enjoy reading my fanfiction! again, it is only edited up to the end of chapter 11. anything between the beginning of chapter 12 to the end of chapter 21 might be inaccurate or cringe. fair warning.
