[Air's POV]

"Uwaaaaaaa! Pwease dwun't gu!" My little brother whined, while clinging on to one of my legs.

"Angin, please. I'll be back, I promise." I calmly stated, as I patted my little brother's head gently while trying to go towards the main door of the house, with Angin still hugging my leg tightly like his life depends on it.

What's actually going on here is that, it's time for me to go back to school again, but my little brother just wouldn't let me and doesn't want me to. He was whining for about an hour already, repeatedly saying that I shouldn't leave him. But, I have to, but he just couldn't let me go.

"Angin, you should let go of your big brother right now. He needs to go to school, and he's going to be late." Our mother said, looking at my young brother with a stern yet pleading look.

"Nu!!!" My little brother whined once more before sobbing. "I dwun't want bwig bwothu tu gu!" He cried, as he hugged my leg more.

I sighed deeply, as I glanced down at Angin once more. I felt my heart dropped when I heard his soft sobs, making me feel like I don't want to start my first day of school anymore. I slowly kneeled down and carried Angin around my arms, patting his back gently afterwards.

"Don't worry, my little breeze." I soothed him. "I promise, I'll be back. And once I'm back, we'll play with whaley again together."

Angin whimpered. "Pwease dwun't weave me." He sniffled, as he sobbed once again. "Pwease stay..."

To be honest, I hate leaving my little brother as well. Whenever I'm not around him, I just feel more likely alone most of the time when I'm in school. There won't be anyone to cheer me up, have fun with me or even talk to me.

Though I also have to prioritise my studies too for the sake of my future, I also can't abandon my love and care for my younger brother. Sometimes it's hard to choose between the two, but doing it all at once wouldn't be a bad idea, right? More like, when I became successful in school, I can give everything for my family, everything that they want, including my endless love for them.

I heaved a long sigh before loosening my little brother a bit away from me and picked up whaley— that was place on the couch— using my water powers. I then gave it Angin afterwards, wiping his tears away before giving him a warm smile.

"How about this, when I get back from school, we'll play all day with whaley, and that means we'll play until night time." I suggested, gently caressing my little brother's cheek afterwards. "You like that?"

Angin's eyes lit up, his pouty, sad face was now replaced with a beaming, wide smile. "Owkie!" He cheerfully replied, giggling cutely after.

I smiled back at him, staring at Angin with his bright smile I vowed to protect. I just love seeing him happy, especially whenever he smiles, it completely melts my heart right away.

I hummed, planting a soft kiss on my little brother's forehead before putting him down on the ground. "I'll see you later, alright? For now, take care of whaley for me while I'm gone, okay?" I stated, with Angin nodding his head afterwards while hugging whaley tightly.

"Have fun in your first day of school Air, okay?" My Dad said, as he gave me a small, genuine smile.

"Okay, Dad!" I responded, giving him a thumbs up with a smile.

"Have fun in your first day of school Air, okay?" My Mom stated, giving me a peck on the forehead before caressing my cheek. I nodded at her response and gave her a warm smile. I then gripped on to my small backpack as I headed outside of the house.

"Ba-bwai, bwig bwothu Awie!" Angin said, his little hand waving towards my direction while smiling cheerily. I glanced back at my little brother, chuckling slightly as I waved back at him.

"Goodbye, my little breeze."

"Mom, Dad, Angin! I'm home!~" I cheerfully stated, as I took a step inside the house. Not for long, I heard footsteps coming from the stairs, going down and revealed my little brother, with a wide smile plastered on his face.

"Bwig bwothu Awie!" He exclaimed, running towards my direction and gave me the biggest hug ever. As a result, I found myself stumbling backwards, falling on the floor while hugging my little brother.

I laughed slightly, embracing Angin wholeheartedly. "I told you I'll come back." I said, smiling heartily at him. We then broke the hug as I looked at him.

"Come on, as I promised, let's play! Together!"
