Chapter 34

"Jungkook-ssi, y-you need to help the alpha!" Gyuri said. "I would never leave your side, my lady!" Jungkook stabbed a rogue with a knife. "But-" "Gyuri, behind you!" Jungkook pulled her into his arms, spun her around before he stabbed the knife on another rogue that tried to hurt Gyuri.

Gyuri's heart was beating fast. Her breathing was cut short.

"Shit!" Jungkook freaked out. "Luna, I'm sorry!" he apologized. Gyuri clutched onto Jungkook's blood stained shirt. "I'm f-fine." "No, you're not! We need to get you to alpha Taehyung or Samuel! Let's go!"

After got separated with Gyuri, Taehyung was not himself. He was worrying sick for her. "Alpha watch out!" Jimin warned him. Taehyung turned around to find a rogue was running towards him. He quickly shift into his wolf form and bite the rogue on its neck, taking its live away at once. Taehyung shifted back. "Why are there so many of them?!" he cursed.

From a far, they could see another rogue running towards them. Jimin was ready to attack but Taehyung stopped him. "That's Samuel." Taehyung said. Jimin withdrew his claw. The rogue shifted back, revealing Samuel with his blood stained shirt.

"Where's Gyuri?" Jimin asked him. "Me? I was about to ask you that!" Samuel said. "Where's Gyuri?" Yoongi came over. Yoongi and his beta, Sanghyun along with Namjoon, his beta Seokjin and delta Hoseok, and Yubin with his beta Donghan reached the school 10 minutes after Samuel called them. They make sure to keep the human safe and to get rid on any rogue lingering around. Alpha Yubin sent his people out to search for any sign of rogue nearby and still hasn't receive anything.

"Alpha!" another voice called from the end of the hallway. "Yah, Jungkook-ah!" Jimin's face brightened when he saw the younger male. Taehyung's gaze landed on the figure right next to Jungkook. "Gyuri." He whispered.

Jungkook and Gyuri ran towards them. Yoongi's eyes widened in surprise when he saw what's behind Jungkook and Gyuri. "Rogue!!" he shouted. Samuel, Taehyung and Jimin were already running towards them but big gap between them make it hard to reach them in time.

Jungkook turned around and saw the rogue had its mouth wide open, ready to bite Gyuri. "Watch out!" he punched the rogue but he didn't see another one coming right behind the rogue. The second rogue jumped over Jungkook and aimed for Gyuri. Before she could even shift to her wolf form, she was bitten by the wolf on her shoulder.

She let out an ear-piercing shriek.

Taehyung's world collapse when he saw she was bitten. He lost control of himself when he saw his mate was bleeding.

Donghan heard sounds from the other end of the hallway. "We got company!" more rogue appeared. "Shit! Where do they come from? How they know we're here?" Sanghyun asked. "Someone's must be watching us!" Hoseok said. "Let's go guys!" Namjoon was the first one to shift.

"Gyuri!" Jungkook was pinned down by a rogue. "Gyuri!" Samuel punched the rogue to the side while Jimin went to help Jungkook.

Samuel was about to kill the rogue when he was pushed aside with a great force. He looked up and he was stunned. Taehyung looked like he's going to kill anybody that stands in his way. His eyes were pitch black. His eyes has no soul at all. His eyes only scream one thing; kill.

Taehyung strangled the rogue and with one squeeze of his fist, he snapped the rogue's neck into half, sending it to the other side of the world.

"Al-alpha..." Samuel was stunned. Taehyung didn't say anything. He walked up to Jungkook, easily lifted the rogue that hovered him. He did the same thing as he did to the previous rogue. Jungkook and Jimin watched in horror. "This is bad, beta!" Jungkook said to Jimin. Taehyung walked towards Gyuri.

She was clutching onto her shoulder. Tears of pain ran down her cheek. "T-taehyung o-oppa..." she sobbed. Taehyung stared at him before he said one word, "Kill." With that, he shifted to his wolf form and started to attack all rogue around him.

Jimin and Jungkook went to Gyuri. "You're going to be okay, princess. Just stay with us." Jimin said. "But Taehyung o-oppa...-" "That's not the same Taehyung you know Luna. When he became this, no one can stop him. He saw you were wounded by a rogue, it would be possible to say that now he will kill every single rogue that he see." Jungkook told her. "Samuel? What ab-out Samuel?!" Gyuri freaked out. Jimin looked at Samuel. He still looked terrified. "The alpha just walked passed him so I guess he's not going to kill Samuel." Jimin told her. "But still..." Gyuri looked at Taehyung as he pushed all the alpha including her brother aside and he handled the rogue alone.

"If we do-n't stop him, wh-what will hap-pen?" Gyuri asked. "The last time he went berserk like this was when his father died. The worst thing he did that day that he killed his pet kitten without mercy and we had to shoot him with tranquilizer to stop him from killing anything else after that." Jimin explained to Gyuri. "We ne-need to s-stop him." Gyuri stood up.

Jungkook pulled her hand, "Don't go princess. No one can control him in this situation." "Are you expecting me to see him got shoot by that stupid tranquilizer?!" Gyuri snapped at them without stuttering a word. Jungkook and Jimin looked at her in shock.

Jimin got up.

"Hyung? You're going?" Jungkook asked. "That's what the Luna wants, delta. We need to protect the Luna and the Alpha. That's our job, remember that." Jimin's face showed no sign of joke. Jungkook got up, "Stay close to us, princess." Gyuri walked closer to them. Jimin swipe his hair backward, "Here goes nothing." Jimin started to run. "Follow close behind, princess." Jungkook started running as well and Gyuri followed him closely from behind.

"Alpha, wake up!" Jimin pulled his shirt but Taehyung just growled back at him which made Jimin took steps back. Gyuri was taken aback with that sight of Taehyung. His hands were covered in blood and he was surrounded by a pool of blood and dead rogue. He killed the last rogue before he threw the dead body to the side.

He walked closer to Jimin. "No!" Jimin tried to attack Taehyung but Taehyung was faster. He grabbed Jimin by his throat.

"Jimin hyung!" Jungkook looked feared. "Bring the princess away!!" Jimin manage to say. Jungkook grabbed onto Gyuri's hand. "Change of plan, Luna. We need to keep you safe first." he was about to bring her away when she pulled her hand away. "I'm n-not go-going!"

Taehyung threw Jimin to the side. His body collided with the cold, hard wall and it crumbled. "No, Jimin hyung." Jungkook ran to him. Taehyung's eyes landed on Gyuri. "Kill." He whispered. "N-No, op-oppa." She looked at him in fear.

"Gyuri, ran away from him!" Seokjin called for her. But she couldn't hear a thing. Her attention was fully on Taehyung. "Please come back to me, oppa." She whispered as she took few steps towards him.

Taehyung let out a deep, low growl at her. *it's okay. He's not going to hurt you. He's your mate. He's Kim Taehyung.* she encouraged herself.

"Taehyung oppa, cc—can you hear m-me? Oppa? L-Let's go h-home okay?" She stood in front of Taehyung. He suddenly wrapped his fingers on her throat, slowly blocking the air for her.

"Gyuri, no!" Yoongi was about to attack but she stopped him, she stopped everyone.

Tears ran down her cheeks, "I'm s-sorry oppa. I'm- I'm not st-strong...f-for y-ou." She's losing her breathing quickly. With the remaining breath she has with her, she pulled Taehyung into a kiss. *I hope this can wake you up, oppa.* she thought as she pressed her lips even closer to Taehyung's. His grip around her started to loose.

Gyuri broke the kiss and looked up Taehyung. He had tears in his eyes. "Op-oppa?" "I'm sor-sorry, kitten." Taehyung looked at her.

Gyuri smiled weakly, "I'm g-glad that you-" Gyuri's words were cut short when she finally lost consciousness and fell into Taehyung's arms.
