How could I forget?

"Hello."

"Hi."

Young Princess Elsa weakly backed away from the black haired prince shyly, her timid blue eyes hiding their gaze from the equally bashful Crown Prince of the Northern Isles. The eight year old boy turned away his inflamed cheeks, stepping behind his mother.

You were my very first friend years ago.

Queen Helena chuckled and patted her son's head, "I'm sorry, Queen Iduna. He's naturally like this in front of new faces, he's the only child in the castle."

"Oh, it's alright, Queen Helena. Elsa, why don't you show the young prince around, maybe let him meet little Anna, too."

Elsa forced a polite smile and nodded, keeping her distance from the young prince as far as possible. Aiden hesitantly followed after the platinum blonde princess's steps, his shaky gloved hands nervously sweating beneath the soft cotton fabric.

"Well, Queen Helena, I believe we can now begin our meeting. Please, follow me to the court room."

Elsa paused. Aiden stopped dead in his tracks as well, hiding his face away from the girl.

His round emerald green eyes widened once he felt a soft, bare hand wrap around his tightly. He lifted his face to find the young princess's looking back at him, this time a genuine smile present in her features.

Your hands had fitted mine long before.

"Here. I don't want you getting lost."

Aiden blushed. In just a matter of moments, how did this girl wormed her way into him? She looked so shy a few seconds ago. How did she change her demeanor so quickly?

Maybe, the swift turn of events years after that made me forget you.

"Come on, my sister's in the gardens."

The five year old ginger was indeed in the castle gardens. Princess Anna giggled in glee as she chased a swift butterfly around the lush green bushes, her formerly pristine white socks are slightly stained with faint outlines of dirt.

She frowned once the pretty winged creature vanished all suddenly. She immediately lightened up once she saw her older sister making her way towards her direction... With a boy, no less!

"Elsa!" She cheered. Aiden scratched his head of hair nervously. Elsa chuckled and gestured to the young prince, "Anna, this is the crown prince of the Northern Isles. Aiden, this is Anna. My little sister."

Anna jumped before the prince, "Hello!" She greeted, waving her hand wildly, "Let's pick some flowers. Gerda just watered them earlier."

Aiden nodded and slyly smiled. The sisterly duo ran over to the bed of whire roses excitedly, Aiden in tow. There are a variety of different kinds of flowers in seperate beds, which sparked up the Northern Prince's interest.
