19 - The New Kid

*+*The next morning*+*

I'm waiting at the bus stop, talking with Austin, when a kid walks out of the new neighbors house.

He looks nervous, but he walks over. I wave and he comes closer. He says "H-Hi.. My name is K-Korina..."

I smile "It's nice to meet you, Korina!"

He smiles a little. It's cute.

He asks "C-Can you show m-me around?"

I nod. "Of course I can!"

This small child is so cute!

We get on the bus. I sit in my normal seat. Korina sits next to me because he's nervous, and Austin sits behind us because that kid 'mysteriously vanished' last night.

I also planted another tree.

Korina is looking around, nervous about his new school.

I smile a little. "It'll be ok."

He looks up and smiles nervously. "Really?"

I nod.

He smiles a bit more, when the bus hits the pothole before school. He makes a startled yelp, hugging my arm.

I chuckle a little. He looks up at me, then realizes he's holding my arm and gasps, letting go and apologizing.

I chuckle more. "It's fine, Korina."

He blushes from embarrassment and looks away.

He's so adorable.

We arrive at school and I start showing him around.

*+*Lunchtime*+*

I sit in my normal seat. Austin and Korina sit with me.

Korina smiles "You both are nice! Other people seem nice too!"

The rude kids walk over to us. I glare at them, and they glare at me.

One sees Korina. "Well well well, what do we have here? A new kid?"

Korina leans closer to me, clearly nervous.

"Uh-Uhhh yeah?"
