Pie's POv

Unlike other working days, I could sense this day is different.
So many costumers , it was  really a busy day for us.

And one of those costumers was the person I thought I won't see again .
It was her , Kim.

Kim; hi , how are you?

Pie: good.. Im good , are you gonna purchase that?

Kim: oh yes ! Please

Pie: a love story this time .

Kim: you've already watch that movie?

Pie: what movie?

Kim: that

Pie; oh, not yet...

Kim; I already did

Pie: you already watch this, then why still buy this ?

Kim; actually, I'm gonna give it to someone .

Pie: oh .. nice

I wanted to ask her, if she already seeing someone new. but it would be stupid for me.

Pie: here it is... Thank you, come again 😊

Kim: can I?

Pie; huh?

Kim: can I come again?

Pie: of course, you are our costumer.

Kim: how about ...how about ahm

I was waiting for some words...I was expecting... Something from her but

Kim; nothing...( Smile) sorry...thank you..bye

She walked away, didn't even look back.
I know she wanted to say something..I can sense it.

Kim's POV

I don't know why I even showed up when I can't even say what I wanted to say to her.
Such a coward.

When I opened the glass door and was about to leave the store..I sneak and glimpse at her...she wasn't looking at me..she was busy talking to the costumer.
So I continue leaving.and when I enter my car.
I opened the bag and took CD I purchased.
Maybe I had the same role at the lead actor on this movie.
Afraid and selfish, leaving her girlfriend without knowing that she is pregnant that time.
He choose to be away .
If I'm gonna be like him. I will lose this girl .
And I won't let that happen.
I got off my car and go back to the video rental shop.

She was surprised..I can see it on her face.

Kim : ahm can I excuse for a bit ma'am? I'll just ask this girl about something

She was attending that costumer so I have to ask permission first so I won't cause any problem.

Costumer: sure 🙂

Kim; thank you so much.so kind of you ma'am.

Pie; is there any problem with what you purchase?

Kim; no..ahm..pie..can I ask you again to have coffee with me? After your shift? Please

Pie; wha...what?

Kim: let's go out again..

I saw the costumer smiled.
While pie was blushing and couldn't believe me.

Kim; this beautiful costumer is waiting..so ? Are gonna have coffee with me? Or not?

Pie; I think I would say no for a coffee..but yes to a dinner?

I slowly showed up my wide smile and saw her smiling also.

Kim; so..see you..I'm gonna wait again outside.🙂

Pie; ok..🙂

Kim:ok..

I was like a kid jumping while laughing outside the store..
It feels like winning on a racing game.
I missed that feeling.
