Jennie POV
"It's been 3 years. 3 years since she told me that she was going to get fresh air. She never came back and I waited." Jennie thought to herself
"Jen!! Come on, Ella is going to be late for dance practice." Kai yells from downstairs
"I'm coming!!! Just looking for my phone!" She yells back when in reality she was in tears. She still missed Lisa
"Mom?" Ella comes into the room
"Hi baby, sorry mom is just a bit emotional and excited for your dance performance." Jennie tells Ella
"I know you miss her mom. I do too." Ella says as she holds onto Jennie's hand
After Lisa left, Jennie looked everywhere, not even Jisoo or Rosie knew where she went this time. Time passed and Jennie wanted to stay in Ella's life. Kai allowed her under one condition... if they would be able to try again and what's the harm in trying? Jennie agreed.
"Babe, did you cry? Whats wrong?" Kai asked on their way to drop Ella off
"It's nothing, baby. I'm just not feeling too well today." Jennie explains
Jennie and Kai have officially been back together for almost a year. She learned to love him again.. but not nearly as much as she loves Lisa.
As they arrive to the dance studio, the kids were all gathered around gossiping about their new instructor.
"Ella honey, what's going on?" Jennie asks
"Oh. There's going to be a new dance instructor today. We are just excited!" Ella responds
"Hi kiddos!!!" A familiar voice hits Jennie
"Li..Lisa...?" Jennie rubs her eyes to see if she imagining
"LISAAAA!!!" Ella screams and runs towards her, the kids are in shock when they see that their friend already knows their mentor
"Ella??? You're so big!! How are you?? I missed you!!!" Lisa says
"I'm doing well! I missed you too!!! Mom and Dad are here too!" Ella says
"Oh. Where are they I'd love to say hello." Lisa says
"Over there!!! By the bleachers." Ella points and Lisa makes her way to them
She's getting closer... and closer.. Jennie doesn't know whether to feel happy, or mad... Kai grabs her hand and signals her as if saying we can go if you want. But Jennie stood her ground.
"Jennie.. Kai..., hi!" Lisa smiles
"Hi Lisa, how are you. We haven't seen you in so long. Ella always asks about you!" Kai says
Jennie stayed quiet until small talk between the two were done
"Okay, well it was nice seeing you guys. I'm happy to see you both. I gotta get back to teaching the kids. I'm happy Ella is here." Lisa says as she makes her way back
After class the parents take their kids home, Kai waves to Lisa after Ella hugs her goodbye. Jennie just walks out.
