It had been narrated by Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on one occasion, when Khadijah was still alive, Jibril came, to the Prophet SAW and said,
❝O Messenger of Allah, Khadijah is just coming with a bowl of soup (or food or drink ) for you. When she comes to you, give her greetings of peace of jewels in the garden, where there will be neither any noise nor any tiredness.❞

Abdullah bin Abbas narrated that one day Prophet SAW drew four lines on earth and asked his companions if they understand what these lines stood for.
They respectfully replied that he knew better.
He SAW told them these lines stood for four foremost ladies of the universe. They are;
❝Khadijah bint khuwayalid
Fatima bint Muhammad
Maryam bint Imran ( mother of Isa )
Asi'yah bint Mazahim ( Fir'aun 's wife )❞

Once, years after Khadijah dead, the Prophet SAW came across a necklace that she once wore. When he SAW saw it, he remembered her and began to cry and mourn. Her love for her never died, so much so, that his later wife Aa'ishah become jealous of her.

Aa'ishah bint Abi Bakr al-Siddeeq, the Mother of the believers, said :
❝ I never felt as jealous of any woman as I did of Khadijah because the Prophet often mentioned her. ❞
And she said;
❝ He SAW married me later, and his Lord or Jibreel told him to give her glad tidings of a house in Paradise of brilliant pearls. ❞

❝ whenever the Prophet SAW sacrificed a goat,❞ she says
❝ he would tell me to send some meat to Khadijah's friends. One day I become annoyed,
' Oh no, not Khadijah again.'
I exclaimed, whereupon the Prophet SAW replied,
'I have been intoxicated by her love.'❞

According to Aishah, the Prophet SAW would not leave home without praising Khadijah.
❝One day when he mentioned Khadijah I become annoyed and said,
'she was just an old woman. God has given you one who is better.'
This angered the Prophet SAW, who said,
' God knows. He has given me no better than her. She believed when others disbelieved. She had faith in me when others rejected me. She supported me with her wealth when others left me in the lurch. And God gave me children by her, which He has not given me by any other wives.❞
