Aurelia

"Hey guys." My voice is just above a whisper as I stare down at the two gravestones below me. I place my two roses down and press a kiss to the inside of my fingers, touching both stones. "Ryan's with Harry right now, um I hope you don't mind but I just don't want him seeing this yet. He's only two and I don't think he's ready for it all." I murmur quietly, taking a seat on the grass.

"I miss you both." I press my quivering lips together and feel my eyes water. "I love you." I whisper, my tears reaching my chin and travelling down my neck. "Come back to me." I whimper, letting out a breath and wiping under my eyes. "Sorry, I know you don't like when I cry." I look down at my father's stone and frown. "Happy birthday, daddy." I whisper slowly, placing a card down on the grass. "Read it when you get the chance." I smile, kissing my fingers and touching the stones again. "I love you both." I say my goodbyes and walk back to my car, starting the drive back home.

"Mommy!" Ryan runs toward me, engulfing me in a hug before I can even shut the door.

"Hi, baby." I smile at his cute face, picking him up kissing his cheek. "Were you good for Harry?" I tickle his tummy and watch him giggle.

"Was a complete angel." Harry comes around the corner, leaning against the wall and smiling at Ryan.

"Thank you, H." I smile, putting Ryan down and watching him run off to play with his toys. "Stay for dinner?" He nods.

"Have I ever been one to say no to food?" He jokes making me laugh. I slip off my shoes and my sweatshirt off, leaving me in my tights and white short-sleeve. "You okay?" He says lowly, giving me a look. I give him the same look, a nod and a sad smile which was his cue to hug me.

"I miss them so much." I murmur feeling my chest tighten. "It's not fair." I mumble into his shoulder.

"Life sucks, huh?" He sighs, running his hand through my hair. "You'll be okay." He murmurs.

"I know." I mutter, the smell of his cologne oddly calming to me.

"Mommy! Can I have snack?" Ryan pops up from behind the wall, a fire truck in his hands and Harry immediately pulls away while clearing his throat.

"Sure, bub. 'S strawberries okay?" He nods and runs off again while I go prepare his strawberries for him.

"So when are you going to tell him?" Harry walks up behind me. "No pressure, obviously." He gives me one of those smiles that makes me feel like everything is okay and I'm doing good things and maybe we'll all just be alright.

"I'm not sure." I murmur quietly. "He still thinks they're on vacation." I feel my tears resurface in my eyes and blink them away while cutting the stems off the strawberries and throwing them in a bowl to wash them.

"It's okay to cry, Elle." He whispers. "Here, I got this." He takes the bowl from me and fills it with water. "You go take a bath and do a face mask or paint your nails or even go get a haircut. You deserve it." He smiles and I feel myself getting more emotional. He's such a good best friend.

"T-Thanks, H." I lean into him and give him a half ass hug

"And please let your choice be haircut because those split ends are driving me insane." He jokes, making me gasp while my jaw drops.

"You suck!" I laugh.

"Thank you, sweetness." He winks, making us both laugh. "Okay, scram!" He shoves me out of the kitchen which makes us both just laugh harder. "Come on! Haircut time!"

"Wha-Harry! This is my house!" I wheeze which makes Harry snort. "Fine! I'm leaving! Take your dirty paws off me!" I giggle, running towards the door. "Baby!" I call and watch Ryan come out giggling.

"Yes, momma?"

"I'll be back, okay? Harry's going to cook you something. Is that alright?" He nods, running up to Harry.

"GUYS NIGHT!" Ryan screams, jumping on Harry which makes Harry and I wheeze again while I bend over, clutching my legs together and trying not to pee my pants. After having a kid, you never know when it'll come out.

"What do you know about 'guys night'?" I wheeze, harder, trying to grab my purse and sweatshirt while slipping on my shoes.

"We are men, mommy. You don't understand." He tells me while giggling before looking up at Harry and whispering. "The tutu's are in my room."

"Bye, baby." I laugh, kissing his cheek and Harry's trying to keep a straight face.

"TUTU TIME!" Harry screams in a deep voice, picking Ryan up and swinging him from left and right.

"Bye, H." I laugh, waving at them.

"Bye, Ellie." He waves with a wide smile and so does Ryan. I love my boys.
