Leo POV
I was just walking back to the Hephestus cabin when I spotted Will ceremoniously lugging the King of Ghosts like a sack of potatoes while a pale-faced kid walked behind him, looking bored and uninterested. Obviously, something else was on the kid's mind because he wouldn't even pay attention to Supersized Leo McShizzle, AKA the ultimate lady attracter. Of course, I followed them. I mean, who wouldn't follow them? Of course I didn't forget to do my duties of making sure the ladies felt important. Will brought the small boy up to the big house, and then carried Nico off to the infirmary.
Chiron POV
As soon as Artemis began watching the orientation video, something annoying just had to happen. This time it was less of a thing and more of an annoying demigod. Not all demigods can annoy my brains out in just a few seconds. Nope, only one demigod currently. The self-dubbed, Supreme Master Supersize Pranker himself, Leo son of Hephaestus. Well at least one is always better than two, right? Wrong. Not when it comes to Leo. He is worse than the Stoll brothers combined, and that's saying something! I have no clue what Calypso sees in him. Anyways, so Leo steps in and is like, "So, New kid. I think it's time for introductions. I am Supersized Leo Mc.Shizzle, Supreme Commander of the Argo II and you unimportant soul are....? " "Artemis Fowl, sir, " he said with an extended hand meant for a handshake. Of course Leo did what Leo did best: he laughed right in the boys face.
Artemis POV
Obviously, the kid is insane. He didn't take my hand like a normal human would, instead he laughed in my face and hit my hand with his knuckles, an extremely unusual and confusing teenage way of saying I'm cool, I don't do handshakes. Such an unsophisticated and confusing way of greeting someone!!! Somehow, Chiron seemed used to this uncivilized. I watched the rest of the video out of the corner of my eye while Chiron was trying to get Leo to leave. Leo finally left after Chiron had threatened his freedom with someone named Calypso. Chiron then turned to me. "Think you have seen enough?" He asked, so of course, I said I had the video was the worst production I'd ever seen. Chiron went outside a bit to grab something and told me to stay there. Rude, they don't know how to treat a guest here at all.
Annabeth POV
When Chiron found me, he persuaded/forced me to come to give a kid a tour. He was a new kid and had yet to be claimed. So when I stepped into the big house I did not expect what I saw. I barely managed to sputter out his name before I fainted. "ARTEMIS???"
