"Caine it's nothing you can do to stop me." I said as I put on my shades.

"Baby girl I'm not trying to stop you, I'm just saying think about this before you just pop up at his house."

I turned around and looked at him.

"This man is trying to kill me. My life is in danger and if me popping up at his house is me not thinking, fine.. but I'm going get the answers I need."

I picked up my purse. "Whether you come or not."

I turned and walked out the door and he followed me.

I had already made my way back home to Ohio after waiting til he made it home and I wanted to just get this over with. It had been a week since we were shot at in the club and I had been plotting ever since.

I was so fed up with my fathers antics I couldn't handle it anymore.

I got into the car and Caine got into the passenger seat.

I pulled up to the address Jayceon gave me about 30 minutes later and saw him leaning against his car.

He dapped up Caine and gave me a side hug.

"You ready?"

"As ready as I'm gone be."

I walked up to the steps and Jayceon pressed the doorbell.

My mom then opened the door.

"Mother." I said as I walked past her.

"Jordyn?"

"That's me. Missed me?" I said as I took my shades off.

"Why are you here?"

"Where is my father?" I asked her in the same tone.

"Handling business."

"Upstairs? Cool."

I walked past her and made my way upstairs looking around.

I found a room that looked like an office and saw him staring out a window and on the phone whispering.

I began messing with things on the shelf.
