"Knock, Knock!"

Turning around, I smiled seeing Jaz and Shay walk in.

"Hey, I'll be there in a minute."

"Take your time babe.

Finishing up a fruit salad I was making, I grabbed the bowl and walked back to the living room area.

"So how have you been?" Jaz asked.

"Yes. It seems like we haven't seen each other in forever." Shay nodded eating a grape.

"Y'all are too busy for me, what you expect." I laughed.

"Girl bye!" Shay rolled her eyes. "You know we would drop everything in a heart beat for you."

"She's right?" Jaz agreed.

"I know But I don't want to take y'all away from y'all priorities." I rubbed my belly.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I shook my head. "Ouuu." I let out as I rubbed the side again.

"Babe are you sure?" Jaz asked.

"Mhmm. Just this one kicking up a storm in me."

"Oh Chile, thank God because I was not ready for you to go into labor." Shay shook her head.

"Neither was I." I laughed.

"So what's new? We haven't seen or spoken since the baby shower." Jaz sat up.

"And that was almost two weeks ago."

Everything me wanted to tell them but I chose against it.

"Everything's been good. Just waiting on Aug to finish his tour so he can finally be home."

"Speaking of Aug." Shay began.

"Mhmm."

"You and him been good? Dev mentioned that he's been really introverted these past couple days."

"Oh. Well I know today was the day Mel passed, but we've spoken and he seems fine."

"Well that explains it. I mean we all know how emotional he is around this time and his birthday."

"Mhmm." I ate some fruit.

"So any plans for his birthday? You gonna shake that fat ass for ya nigga?"

Laughing at Shay's question, I shook my head.

"It would be a miracle if I do and at this point, with this belly, my ass is nonexistent."

"Nah its there." Jaz smirked.

"I don't know why you're tripping like that. From behind you can't see your belly you know."

"So I've heard but it doesn't change the fact that its there." I laughed. "I'm so ready to meet this baby though."

"Still saying its a boy?"

"At this point I just what he or she to be healthy, well remain healthy. Doctor Sanders said that the baby's growth and everything is on schedule."

"But still hiding the private part huh?" Shay laughed.

"Yes. Not for shit does he or she want us to know."

"Maybe that's how God intend it to be."

"True." I agreed. "So Jaz?"

"Oh boy! What is it?"

"Its time you get back out in the dating world."

"And who says I haven't been?" She smirked.
