Rolling over, I exhaled and just laid on the bed, staring at the ceiling. Aside from what went down last night between me and Alei, playing over a and over in my head, I had some weird ass dream.
"Aye Goon?"
Putting my attention on the door way, I looked at T.
"Wassup?"
"Alei was tryna call ya."
Turning my head back, I didn't want to hear from or about her right now.
"You heard me man?"
"Yeah." I answered uninterested.
"Are you going to call her back?"
"Nah." I got up and stretched.
"What you mean nah?"
"Nah I ain't calling her back. She need ta chill tha fuck out a bit."
Grabbing my toothbrush, I went and did my routine. We were back on the road and for the first time, I was happy about that.
I've been tryna give ha the benefit of tha doubt. I know I was tha reason she had all that doubt and concern in ha mind but shit, trust you're man.
Finishing up my routine, I changed my clothes and got my phone. Seeing the missed calls and texts, I just cleared everything and went to my social media.
Seeing my fans excited about my last set of shows, it changed my initial mood, till I'd seen Alei's post on IG.

Sighing, I scrolled through the comments. Some people were speculating, saying it was for me, which I know it was, while others are complimenting her on how beautiful she was.
Going back to the picture, I just stared at it. Even though it was an old photo, like always, she looked beautiful. Shaking me out my thoughts, I saw my momma's name appear on the phone screen.
"Wazzamin momma."
"Hi son, I'm alright. Are you busy? I wanted to talk to you."
"Nah we can talk. Wassup?"
"Ya know I try ta stay out you and ya brothers and sister's business right."
"Mhmm."
"Alei called me this morning looking for you. Did you leave without telling her Aug?"
"Yeah." I sighed.
"But why son? You don't ever do that especially with her being pregnant."
"We got into it last night. She thought I was cheating with Leah when I was trying to surprise her with the baby and Amirah's room."
