"We finally finish man." I laughed.

"For real."

I had just wrapped the last session for my mix tape. Even though the music part of it was complete, now the even harder work was to begin.

"So how things been with the baby moms?"

Shaking my head, I just sighed.

"Man shit ain't been good. I try to see my daughter as much as I can but me and her we stay getting into it."

"Over her new dude."

"Shit me and him been gotten into about three times."

"The hell y'all got into it for?" He looked at me crazy.

"I sorta surprise kissed her back in Trinidad and she told him. He tripped and we squared up." I shrugged.

"Nigga don't tell me you tryin fuck dey shit up."

"Me and Alei belong together man. Yea we fight and shit but that's just us."

"Yea but you don't expect her to keep going back and forth man. You should know that."

"I know but all I needed was some time and she ain't give me that. She just decided to move on."

"Man you sound sus." He laughed.

"It ain't even like that. Dude just gets on my nerves."

"Who is he?"

"August."

"August Alsina?"

"Yea man." I shook my head.

"Damn she like industry dudes?" I laughed.

"Nah nigga it ain't even like dat but I plan on gettin her back though."

"How you plan on doing that nigga."

"By doin nothing." I shrugged. "I'm just gonna fall back, take care of Amirah and be cool."

"Y'all young bloods need help."He shook his head. "But good luck man."

"Shit I need my family back man."

"I hear you man, I just how you know what you are doing."

"I got this."

Finishing up at the studio, I packed up and left. All while on my way home, I was thinking about Alei.

Even though she was pregnant, I honestly didn't care. I knew I fucked up but playing her but I needed her back in my life. She the only female I honestly trust out here.

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't realize I was already home. Shaken out my thoughts by my phone ringing, I smiled knowing who it was.

"This my ladybug?"

"Hey." She exclaimed. "No fair."

"I'm sorry princess." I laughed. "How are you?"

"Good. I asked grandma to call you."

"Yea? Where your momma at?"

"She sleeping."

"Oh ok."

"Am I seeing you this weekend?"

"Once its ok with mommy."

"Ok."

"Mhmm. So what my ladybug up too."

"Watching TV."
