A Letter To The Future

To whom it may concern
Well
If the past even triggers concerning
Then why bother writing to you
But I'm getting off topic
I write to inform your kind
That our kind may not live
To see the day where the universe
Smiles with sincerity
And from our wars of blood sickened battle
(With tears ripped from the paper)
And to the politics in the news
(Showing all but truth)
Violence in the streets of our world
Our world
That we so desperately needed
(But didn't pay a single cent to freedom)
Because money means nothing to your kind—
Only rusted metal that philosophy breaks apart to a true world like yours—
And I just hope you are alive
Whomever may be reading this
(If any live being reads this)
I pray that you live through my kinds
Mess that we've made
(And not once attempted to clean up)
But there are no words
Nothing says a simple "sorry"
So I say this to you now
Please take care of this world
Treat it not like nothing
And so help me God
Please be alive.
